    I'm learning so much from these tutorials. Thank you @Amir :)
    Imho,
    @7:43 in the TOC, section b should have been placed after section 3.a.1
    But in all fairness; the eg was was placed on page 9, (before section 3.a.1)
    Hence the automatic precession of section b before section 3.a.1

    Hello, Thank u for your video.
    I am a user of the EndNote Web (online free version) and recently I have downloaded the Cite While You Write plug-in for Mac. I have the MS Word 2016, but it failed to show the EndNote toolbar. I have reinstalled and checked all the settings, but it just do not appear. I guess there is something wrong with the plug-in that I got from the EndNote website - or maybe it's just not compatible with this version of Word.
    Could u help me with this?
    Thank u in advance

      So this on a MAC? The online Version is not a full version of OneNote, so all features may not be available.

    I truly appreciate your videos, but I'm having another strange problem. I'm using Word 2013.
    I've completed an eBook and am trying to add the TOC. It will not recognize my Heading 1 or 3 classifications except for my Heading 1 for the Preface page. I have headers/footers starting from Chapter 1 and from that point forward it only recognizes my Heading 2 items.
    Any thoughts?

      Not sure why this could be happening. I am trying to create this problem on my pc, cannot duplicate your problem. Go to References - Table of Contents - Custom Table of Contents. in this window go to OPtions, you should see STYLES checked and the One column will have the words Heading 1, 2, 3 and the corrresponding Columns will say 1,2,3. The top lines about Header and Footer are empty in my case.

      It appears that it was the same problem as my Justify problem. When I use shift+enter to drop to the next line it messed up the TOC ability to recognize the formatting of the Heading 1,2 or 3.

    I've created some headings in the header with section break next page, how do I show it as part of the TOC?

    • @AmirParmar
      @AmirParmar  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Mei Lim If you have given the Style Heading 1 or 2 to your headings, go to the TOC and Refresh it.

    • @meilim9950

      My headings are in the header (as in the header/footer). It doesn't appear as part of my TOC although I have set them as the same style as my other headings in the normal text area.

    • @AmirParmar
      @AmirParmar  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Mei Lim I had never tried TOC with header, looks like it is not possible, as Headers can repeat over couple of pages. For TOC the chapter has to be within the document and not in the header/footer. If you like to have the Chapter title all the way to the top of the page maybe reduce the Top margins and also eliminate the Header margin.
