Yeah, I really agree I want to do NOTHING about crop failures, droughts and floods and I want to raise taxe on working class people. Yeah! And if people's babies are dying in Guatemala because of crop failure and they try to come here, let's kidnap more of their babies. Let's seperate little children from their mothers for the crime of wanting their children to live and not be raped by drug cartels. While we are at it, let's support the NRA and sell more guns to the drug cartels so that they can kill more of their countrymen and women! Whoo Ya! Vote Republican. Vote for Zero compassion, Zero 'Give me your tired and poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free" Fuck the Statue of Liberty. Who need 'Sweet Land of Liberty" It's like football. So I'm from California, I'm a (moderate) Democrat and I'm here to say Tim Ryan got obliterated in this debate. JD Vance was sharp, informed, and on point. Even if what he said were lies they came off great. Ryan looked bored, he looked annoyed, he was out of touch and couldn't answer most of the questions Vance shot back at him. IMO JD Vance will be the next Senator from Ohio.

JD Vance obliterated Tim Ryan with the truth! Democrat politicians are evil and "FULL" of lies. It's too bad Democrat voters are so gullible. I'm an immigrant minority and as an immigrant, we don't trust government, so we do thorough researches to find out the lesser of two evils, Democrat or Republican. Come to find out, Democrat and many Republican politicians are actually on the same team, trying to invoke their evil agenda. Conservative is the best way to go for immigrants....because we've lived under tyrannical govt, we know what they look and sound like and we don't want to live under tyranny anymore. That's why we have left our original countries.

I generally agree with most of Ryan's stated views but I'll be voting Vance.
Tim Ryan was a sponsor of SEL in schools, which is Maoist struggle sessions to recruit children from Pre-K to teens and beyond for Cultural Revolution. We don't need to be lining up kids in order of them being oppressors and victims, based on racial identity and if they have a father at home, or based on some actions of someone's ancestors who the child roughly resembles.
I'm also for Equal Rights for everyone, including LGB and also T are entitled to rights and so are former T who try to convert back. The problem with T is they go far beyond demanding equality and Liberty. T wants obedience and celebration by everyone else .. or else expect punishment.
      Q? No!
Q is an ideology of intentional destabilization of everything in society, including but not limited to gender and public celebration of fetishes. That is outright treason, aiming for Maoist Revolution.
Neo Marxists oppose equal rights and oppose basic liberalism. They want Rights to vary on a scale of intersectionality, based not on evidence, determinations by woke commissars deciding who gets extra points or extra discounts, based on determinations of the relevant identity groups and on a scale of social oppression, both current and historical, both real and imaginary-subjective.

Tim Ryan was destroyed in this debate. It’s amazing to me that none of these moderators ever push Democrats on what their line is on abortion. They always get away with saying it’s up to the women and Dr to provide abortion on demand. Then claiming every pregnancy is rape and incest when it’s under 1% of abortions. Vance should ask Ryan what’s the line on the other 99% of abortions.

    • @Dr_JSH
      @Dr_JSH ปีที่แล้ว

      So dishonest.
No Democrat claims every pregnancy is rape or incest.
Only Trumplicans have the gall and indecency to tell extreme whoppers like that (à la "Democrats want to kill Republicans; they've already started" [Marjorie Taylor Greene], "And frankly we did win this election" [Trump, the evening OF the #2020election, WHILE EVERY STATE WAS STILL COUNTING BALLOTS], "The Left has declared war on Thanksgiving" [Charlie Kirk]).
Ryan DID answer the question: he said we need to return to Roe v. Wade, either by Congress or a re-do at the Supreme Court. What more did you want?
Vance, no surprise, repeated the same absurdities bloviated by forced-pregnancy pushers.
There is literally no such thing as "abortion on demand." No one can demand an abortion when meddling state legislators impose a 24- to 72-hour waiting period to have an abortion after initially meeting the abortion provider.
And NO ONE wakes up at 39 weeks gestation and thinks, "I feel like having an abortion today." This is lunacy.
Nearly all abortions occur in the first trimester, and, no, a fetus at 12 weeks does not look exactly like an infant at birth, just smaller. This is one of many #GOPLies, and one of many Alito included in his Dobbs decision. At 12 weeks, the fetus's skin is translucent and its body is blobby with a humungous head.
Democrats oppose absolute cutoffs after which abortions cannot occur because the reality is fetuses do (start to) die post-viability (~24 weeks). Denying girls and women an abortion (including medications that cause a "chemical abortion") puts their own life in peril.
Also testing could determine a fetus will be born with severe birth defects with no chance of survival. An example is anencephaly, caused by insufficient intake of the B vitamin folic acid early in pregnancy. A fetus with anencephaly has only a brain stem and will suffer greatly and die within hours of being born.
Deciding to have an abortion or give birth in these circumstances is deeply personal and should be entirely private.
AMERICANS ARE NOT FREE when the government forces girls and women to carry a pregnancy and endure labor and delivery against their will.
      This is #immoral.
Forcing girls and women to carry their rapist's spawn throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery without their consent is not only immoral. It's literally #torture.

Nah, I am so sick an tired of my money going to baby mommas! Why the men never stay? Idk. Fathers these days don't care, so why should I? A mother of 6 kids? How can anyone do that on their own? If she had support to abort as soon as she found out, I would kindly drive her. Kids deserve better to be born unto a world that has no way to support them. It's sick. At 20weeks, fine the baby too big to take away, also you would know by then. If any complications, ask the mother first. It's a womans right to choose. Some of ya'll men gonna be sick to know that u forced preged ur wives and she can decide if she really wants ur kids. Take it from a woman who works with homeless families, some of these parents just can't work for themselves let alone their kids so they take the check and barely make it stretch. Smh. Also, increase the price of abortions, make it a financial burden as well. Safe & Rare. Low down dirty fathers pay child support in womb too. Lazy POS, 9 months worth of $$ for that baby to survive. Dr visits, vitamins, food, clothes etc. Being preg ain't cheap. Anything but take my $$ from my pocket becuz of lack of responsibility. No one is getting them like candy when u can just give birth and get another check. .ugh thonk ppl. These kids have to grow up and who will they likely be? Criminals, undereducated, in poverty. Just have kids you actually want, and use protection. Ain't that hard.

@@fobluv4lyfe Your voice is heard. And some valet points as well. It’s true, the system failed us for years. Sadly, it’s not going to get any better soon. As stated, you understand working with poor. I get it! I been there and did my share to contribute (Volunteered) to this crime of mess that no one should have to go through in this country. But, the reality is aborting babies isn’t the answer. No matter the circumstances, there is no justification to have an abortion. Absolutely, they’re deadbeats dads, one to too many children in a single family homes living in poverty, significant others forced to have kids, and the list goes on. Yes, with all the negative circumstances for middle, low class, and poverty individuals is a burden getting pregnant and having the child. Although the circumstances, each individual has a choice becoming pregnant. No different then a choice to live within a broken system, welfare, government assistance, or like the fake president handing out money and no one has to work for a living.
No one is holding a gun to their heads. Every individual has the right to be poor or not. Every individual has the right to become pregnant or not. If an individual relying on the system and they will remain in the system. If an individual choose to have unsafe sex she will be most likely pregnant. A choice. Multiple stories of people getting out of the system and finding ways to overcoming the barriers. Yes, even a single parent with serval kids to support. The fact is the system is broken and it’s been done deliberately to keep the poor in this cycle. The fact is we’re taught to blame others for our mistakes in this cycle. And those caught in the system or born into it will blame the world for their situation. It’s a cycle that is controlled by the system -deliberately. Example are those cash stores providing loans designed for low income. Why? keep them in the system. Yet, it is a choice each individual makes.
Besides making an argument for the poor or low income, too many of the haves gone through abortions. So, it’s not just the low come, but the middle and rich class having abortion. As I stated before, with the exception of rap or the difficulties during pregnancy, abortion is a selfish act. No justification having an abortion regardless how bad the world may seemed. If that baby in a mothers womb can speak, he/she would want to be born. But, for a women to decide for another human being what rights he/she has is nothing more then a selfish act. Self serving! A nation that self serves in a selfish act is a nation to collapse. No country can survive when each individual lives for his/hers self alone.
We have free will to make choices. Some are good and some are not so good. But, it’s our free will that separates us from animals. We alone can make something of ourselves no matter what circumstances we’re in. Or we can continue to blame others and the system for our poor decisions in which we choose to live in. If we choose to eat bad foods expect the outcome. If we choose to do drugs, expect the outcome. If we choose to rub and steal from others, expect the outcome. If we choose to have material things first vs food on the table, expect the outcome. And if we choose to have unsafe sex, expect the outcome. Choices! Again, If in debt, who is to blame? Do I blame the credit card companies or myself for getting into debt? Do I point the figure for where I’m at in my life, and do I take responsibility and make a change from the choices I made? Same goes for those born into the system. Do I continue to live in the system and blame others, or make a CHOICE to get out and make something of myself? And for many folks, it’s been done! Over, over, and over again. Yeah, folks in a broken system willing to get out is not impossible. And those not wanting to have kids can avoid getting pregnant. It’s simple as taking responsibility!
We have to stop blaming others and look in the mirror why situations are what they are. Choice!

    @Unsensitive ปีที่แล้ว +1

I'd really like to vote for Vance, but his stance on qualified immunity needs work.
I agree some level of QI is needed, but the way it works now is absurd.
It requires clear precedent in the courts of wrong doing. Due to a significant lack of precedent, government workers can basically violate your rights all they want.
That means even if everyone would identify it as wrong, if there's no precedent, they still get immunity, not what they deserve, which is a fair trial.
As it currently stands, this is hurting law enforcement. It allows the bad police to commit egregious rights violations, ruins the image of the police, including the good ones. Over time the bad apples even ruin some of the good ones too.
We need legislation to change qualified immunity, and encode it in law, but with a proper overhaul and more restrictions along the way not a blanket "get out of jail free" regardless of how bad the rights violation was.
This doesn't even get into the mess that is civil asset forfeiture.
We need criminal asset forfeiture, not civil. All civil asset forfeiture does is allow authoritarian governments to legally steal your money and things, all while making you fight a court battle to regain it, often more than the value of your property.
I'd hope whomever is elected, they push for laws to make civil asset forfeiture illegal. It's literally legalized highway robbery.

      @TruthSage1 ปีที่แล้ว

Vance “nuked” Ryan”. Really? Did we watch the same debate? My observations:
      • There were areas where I AGREED with both candidates:
o Both were correct in saying we should take on China relative to trade, but incorrect in supporting Trump’s unilateral tariffs against China. We should have brought TPP and European countries in with us, since that would have increased our leverage against China.
o Both were correct in praising the Chips and Science Act. Ryan added the point that this law will bring a lot of jobs, including averaging $135K per year for the Intel plant to be built near Columbus.
o Both agreed to accept the results of this year’s election.
o Both candidates were strong in saying we need to be strong in siding with Taiwan relative to China.
o Both candidates said we need more money for cops.
      • There were also some areas where I DISAGREED with both candidates:
o They both ignored the inconvenient fact that a result of the Trump tariffs against China and China’s retaliatory actions was that some farmers -- including in Ohio! -- who could no longer export grain to China committed suicide. Plus, we needed to pay off $28 billion to bail out big agribusiness who were also hurt by China's retaliation to the same tariffs.
o Neither candidate brought up the notion of mandatory national E-Verify, which really IS a strong method for keeping undocumented workers out of the country.
      • In my view, Ryan deserves credit for:
o Correctly mentioning that the bipartisan infrastructure bill would create 600,000 jobs.
o Correctly blaming the effects of coming out of the Covid pandemic for inflation
o Supporting two natural gas electricity generation plants in his district
o Wanting to codify Roe v. Wade in law.
o Citing that Vance had said that rape was “inconvenient”.
o Claimed that Vance sided with election deniers and those who stormed the Capitol and helped raise money for their legal defense.
o Correctly claimed that Vance campaigned with Ron DeSantis, who’s looking to ban books; and also with Marjorie Taylor-Green, who he accurately called the “looniest politician in America”.
o Said we would need a “swift and significant response:” against Russia’s use of nukes in Ukraine. Added that he’s been supportive of a strong military, including voting with Trump.
o Accurate statement in saying (paraphrasing) “only JD Vance would say that a bill codifying same sex marriage isn’t about same sex marriage”.
o For SCOTS candidates, WOULD have “litmus tests” on abortion, marriage equality and birth control.
o Stated that didn’t “want politicians in bedrooms and doctors’ offices”.
o Correct in stating that can’t build a wall in the Rio Grande River, but need more technology to stop fentanyl, plus the need for comprehensive immigration reform and that said Vance was hypocritical by hiring foreign workers.
o Correct in saying that said Kamala Harris is wrong and that the Southern border is NOT secure. Plus, correctly stated the needs for more border patrol and more technology to enforce the border.
o Mentioned that voted for recent reforms to Medicare including negotiating drug prices, capping seniors’ drug prices at $2,000 per year plus $35 insulin.
o Mentioned about January 6th cops being badly abused and that Vance helped raise money for the 1/6 thugs that did that.
o Correct in pointing out that the biggest threat to elections and democracy is extremism.
o Made strong point about “guys who lack the guts to oppose their own party”. Backed that up by saying that on accession, he’s gone against Pelosi, Sanders and Biden and gone along with Trump on trade (including reforming NAFTA) and China.
o Cited that Vance wouldn’t stand up to Trump, including when Trump said “JD Vance, all you do is kiss my ass to get my support”, plus that Vance’s response to that was essentially an on-stage “kumbaya” type moment with Trump.
o Strong statement in saying that Ohio needs an “ass-kicker instead of an ass-kisser”.
      • Regarding Vance (again, in my view):
o Vance blamed Biden’s borrowing for inflation. Fact: Trump borrowed $7.8 trillion, while Biden curt the deficit by 50% and only borrowed $1.4 trillion for the 2022 budget. JD, polish up on your math! Plus, he missed the far bigger picture that there’s really MANY other causes of inflation: the Federal Reserve’s failure to raise interest rates earlier; the war in Ukraine; OPEC’s, the oil industry’s and Wall Street investors (and now the Saudis) rolling back oil production; supply-chain snarls and people taking early retirements coming out of Covid.
o Vance ducked responding when Ryan claimed he opposed abortions for rape and incest cases and also ducked the issue about whether would support Lindsey Graham’s anti-abortion bill. Instead of responding about the abortion issue relative to the raped 10-yaer old, he re-framed the issue to the fact that a 10-year-old girl was raped by an illegal alien.
o Vance blames Biden for “people hating each other”. Blaming Biden? Biden is NOWHERE NEAR as divisive as Trump on issues like race, ethnicity, gender, etc.
o Claimed “nobody knows how we should respond” to nukes from Russia in Ukraine. Really? That’s BS! I GUARANTEE you there’s people in the Pentagon who have formulated multiple options on this.
o Opposed marriage equality legislation because it would threaten religious organizations. Really, I seriously doubt that! For example, these type bills always allow churches to opt out of doing gay weddings.
o Ducked question about litmus tests for SCOTUS candidates.
o Ducked responding to Ryan’s point that he helped raise legal defense money for the January 6th thugs that injured 140 cops.
o Claimed there was no reason Trump should be thrown in prison. JD really, are you paying attention? Start with the House and DoJ January 6th investigations, the Georgia election probe, Mar-a-Lago documents probe and the NY State investigations into the Trump organization.
o Didn’t respond to Ryan’s claims relative about “stolen election” BS, and the facts that Trump-inspired thugs that stormed the Capitol on January 6th and threatened to hang Mike Pence really ARE a threat to democracy.

Both parties agree with this nonsense, and _no one_ ever calls them out. It is of course demonstrably false. The number of jobs that have left for China amount to a measly fraction of annual job separations (in a good year). It isn't logical to believe that you could trade with other countries and not lose any jobs, and it's even more unreasonable to support a no-trade policy. Secondly, import restrictions raise the costs of our exports, which destroys far more jobs than foreign import competition.
One of the problems here is that both parties are economically illiterate, and voters aren't any wiser.
