Congressman Demings works in the House of Representatives. In order for a bill to become law, it has to be voted and passed by the House AND the Senate. As she stated, bills that she voted on in the House are still in the Senate waiting on a vote. It takes both legislative branches to vote and pass a bill before it goes to the President for his signature. Only then does a bill become law.
Look it up. Fetal Viability can be anywhere between 22 - 24 weeks depending on physician diagnosis, but there is no general consensus. That’s why she could not be specific as far as weeks are concerned. You know how politics work. She’s not a physician so she can’t make that call as to number of weeks.

It's why the independent voters will most likely help determine the final results in this election. Totally agree. I don't understand why republicans who are not millionaires vote against there own interest. If no one was able to purchase an assault weapons,,mass shootings would not happen. Yet the Republican Congress votes against it because of their affiliation with the NRA. Has nothing to do with the second ammendment rights. The GOP would like to slash Social Security and medicare. We pay into this our entire working years. This would put seniors on the street or in poor houses. Learn your history before there was SS.
