I hope everyone enjoys jumping back into Aeternum with the console release! Let me know some leveling tips you like to follow that I might have missed out on, so we can all get to max level as soon as possible!
With gathering close resources, getting blue books and going to teleport areas whilst following the msq I went from 40-50 just following it. Rewarded me for playing the game. Don’t know why it surprised me so much
Great video. I agree with you. For me, I like to experience the game and have fun along the way to max level. My main I started playing at launch and it took me 4 months to hit max level. I did every side quest I could handle as a solo player and saved the others until I was stronger with better gear. Of course NW was my first MMO so I had no idea what I was doing and at that time it was hard to do expeditions without a group finder. With that said I have a few friends rushing their new characters to max level for wars. To each their own. I started a new character on a fresh start but I’m slowly playing and throughly enjoying the storyline with the cut scenes. I also have Throne & Liberty and Diablo 4 in my playing rotation right now.
That's the best way to play. Tbh, I wish I could go back to my first MMO. For me it was RuneScape, and back then there were no online guides, so I just have such fond memoris of being a kid, not knowing anything about the game, and just trying stuff out to see what happens, or asking other players in game questions. It's a magical experience. Now I am a bit more of a min maxer. 😂 I've been getting hooked on Throne recently too, and keep getting the itch to jump back on when I am on New World. I really wish they spaced the releases out a bit better.
Oof, I hate that. I had the same issue last year during Elysian Wilds launch. I flew back the day b4, but because of weather got stick in Miami. I had to watch everyone streaming the game while I was in some cheap airport hotel. 😂
What are your thoughts on Launch day? I'll be honest... I was expecting more. We don't know exactly how many total concurrent players there were since we can't see the console player numbers, but even the PC steam player charts were lower than expected. Meanwhile, over 200k concurrent on throne and liberty steam charts. I gotta believe that played a role in lower steam numbers.
I enjoyed it, but yea, I kinda expected more views wise. Videos during Elysian Wilds were going wild. Having Throne out right now is a pretty bad move tbh, I felt myself kinda wanting to jump on Throne today while I was on NW. Been enjoying running around Cutlass though. I thought the steam numbers looked great as well, but I wasn't expecting as high as some people were. 😂
Yea, but it's really a method just for the sweaty people that want to min max leveling, and it's totally not needed. I always recommend questing method over that, because either way you'll have to go back and quest for the azoth staff. There's also things like paying for carries in hard content like the Sandworm, but again, really not needed, just for lazier players or for people who really can't handle the content.
I dont understand why you'd pay £50 for a game then rush to level, I'm just enjoying the world and levelling at my own pace, it's an mmo, you'll get to max level eventually as a side effect of just playing, enjoy it dont rush
There's a lot of people who have already leveled characters before, or want to max out quick to go for server firsts, or claim territories in wars early on for the large amounts of gold. I agree to take your time and have fun, but some people have fun in other ways. Some people only fish in NW, n ignore everything else. To each their own.
It’s because early on it’s advantageous to max out professions/levels for gold making. Not saying that’s the absolute reason why but on fresh servers you can sell materials for far more gold compared to later on. I’m not rushing but that’s what a few friends who are have shared with me lol
@@giannisparamanis9937 Yea, good point. Or if you get be the first to claim a territory like Everfall on a fresh start server, you get an insane amount of gold.
Videos like this ruin the game for people. Part of the "content" is the content you experience while lvling to max lvl. End game content isnt the only content and people who rush to "endgame" are always the one crying about how the game lacks content -_-
I play games at a slower pace, but who are we to tell people how to play a game? This video is specifically for people who play the game in a min max way, which there are a lot of people that do that, and I made this video to try help them. I do agree people who play crazy hours a day, and rush through all content shouldn't complain about lack of content (as long as content is coming out at a reasonable rate), but if they want to play that way and move onto other games in the mean time I have no issue with that. Some people love PVP, some love PVE, some people just role play in New World. I don't think we should judge how anyone plays, nor should we baby people and say this video ruins the game for people. We're all adults here, if you like to play at a fast pace, click on this video, if you don't, skip this video. No one is being forced to watch the video, so I don't think it's fair to say it's ruining anyone's experience. I make a lot of videos, for all kinds of players. I have min maxing guides, lore series', transmog contests, and so much more. Not all of it is for everyone, but I put it out there, not forcing anyone to watch it, and the viewer can click on the video that interests them.
Bad take is bad. What about the people who have leveled normally multiple times and just want to get a new character caught up? Who cares if other people complain? Stop letting other people's ideas of fun influence your own.
I’ve leveled about 6 characters in this game since starting. Fresh starts x2 and 4 max chars currently, one of which I deleted to make a new one for this latest update: Some of us know just about every word of every voice dialogue. Don’t be so sure everyone who watches this is going to miss out on anything there bud.

I agree with the release dates. Both games are beautiful with great stories. I wish there was a few months between the games.
im like one day behind because someone decided it was a great idea to dig a fiber cable up XD so i had no internet the whole day

Good content I just installed and played 30 min after 2 years off assessing whether to go all in
Thanks m8. (: Yea, it's much improved in the last 2 years.

did he just say, pay carry groups to get you through content? that doesn't sound like fun

The title is fast, not fun
What is the style on the left hand character in your thumbnail?
That was the old starting gear you used to get when you washed up before revamped story. Probably still in transmog system.
Me: ok
My brain 🧠: what??????
There's a lot to take in when you're new to the island of Aeternum. :P

There is no mini map in game. False information
By minimap I mean the radar at the top of the screen.
@@NewbWorld ok, that's very different
