I love how Hammond is literally allowed to stand on the wing while the new guys were stopped 10 metres away from the F-35
f35 has a stealthy coating. It can withstand air pressure like the Eurofighter just fine, but sharp things like shoe soles would scratch it up and ruin its stealth properties
Yes but you can damage the stealth paint from the F35 with foam plus the Chinese would really like to know how to make a plane that even comes close to the F35. And the Eurofighter is well. A plane from the late 90s. Very capable but old nonetheless

The jet is basically having it's typical day of plane life, cruising around casually, and doing loops and maneuvering through the heavens. Then eventually deciding to descend back down for the landing. While the Bugatti is trying with all its effort to try to keep up.

All this time, and still I watch this and think it is awesome, the bit where the Typhoon landing gear up, powers past the Bugatti, was the best bit for me, just wow, simply wow.

keep coming back to this extremely ferociously epic and unforgettable episode!
The top car simply can't beat the top jet. This is to be expected. It's one of the reasons why jets were designed to go airborne (aside from the obvious reasons), they're too fast to keep to a road. The Veyron can't go over 1000 miles per hour, but the jet can. I was surprised the Veyron held its ground as much as it did.
This was much closer than expected because both vehicles had to turn around and return to the start line. I jet will be slower at this than the car.
Yea the acceleration of the car is decent, jet engines take a heck a while to spool up

Neither can the eurofighter even go 950 on that altitude without the wings being ripped off and 700mph is safe for it to do at that altitude and itll still take a while to get to

The cinematography is incredible on this one. I remember seeing this the first time at my local bar on silent TV while Whatever You Want by Tina Turner was playing on speakers. I think it was a great soundtrack for this clip.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me the Veyron is profoundly ugly in a way that has nothing to do with its lines. For a Veyron you could have multiple Hummers, plus all the gasoline necessary to run said Hummers for the life of the vehicles. That's totally obscene when there are children dying of starvation in Africa.

This is the best drag race in history bar none, the views prove it, it’s probably the most viewed too, the jet did have gravity as well aha. It always makes me nostalgic, I remember watching this in my childhood as if it was yesterday.
