question....i just bought a brand new z1 and had them add a mulch kit so I dont have to worry about throwing clippings, rocks, etc. My question for you is this.....with the chute blocker, do you run mulch blades/mulch kit underneath, or standard blades and just drop the chute blocker when needed? If not using mulch kit, does the grass clump up with the chute blocker closed?

Depending on the time of year, I use different blades. For example, in the fall, I use mulching blades. If you have the mulching kit installed and are not using just a chute blocker, I would recommend using mulching blades. I've not experienced any clogging but as with any machine, if you put enough wet grass under the deck, it will clog up. If you're using the operational chute blocker, I would recommend high lift blades.

I’m considering purchasing this mower as my primary (I currently have a 48” Exmark) because I need it to do smaller yards… my question is I have 1 property that’s just about 2 acres but all the rest are less than 1/3 acre
I know this machine isn’t ideal for mowing acres, but would you still recommend it?
In other words are you happy with your purchase and using this as your primary mower

I'm still very happy with it. I tell everyone who is looking to purchase one that your either going to love it or hate it.
You mentioned using it to do large areas. Yes, it would be good BUT it does not have a place for a sulky so you would be walking behind it.
