looks like a clean install on that LED light. Do you have a link to that particular light bar? Have to drill holes? I just picked up my new Z1 over the weekend!

We have a 52" Z2 w/Vanguard 28hp efi. and I love it. We are from Pointe Coupee Parish. Nice to here from someone else in "Louisiana " ...Man you go to other states to cut grass. Wow! We gotta work on your route density lol😀
J's Crazy Cutz, LLC lol. I have the most dense routes ever haha. It’s only 20-25 minutes away. But that’s just where the neighborhoods start. Other wise it’s all country. Kind of stinks huh?
Thanks for the review. I was wondering how the Ferris 36 did on hills. I have very similar issue. I use my 52" Cub Cadet ZT2 for front lawns and Toro 30 inch walk behind for back lawns on gates I cannot fit Cub Cadet through. Your review was helpful in deciding what stand on to go with as those same lawns with the small gates also have hills to deal with.
Nice video. Back tracked to find this one. I bought a scag swzt 36 inch walk behind because of the gate and weight factor. Mines 500lbs and will never be heavier because i won't be on it. My concern was cutting wet yards and adding human weight to it. I see your ferris listed at 765 lbs and then add an operator pushing 950lbs. Be careful not to leave tire lines when grounds soft. Small decks don't clump because they have shorter distances to discharge grass then wider decks which is nice. Im debating on a grass flap so i can block off the chute or open it up full as long as my bagger will still fit with it on.
StrykerV I saw someone use a walk behind the other day and I had no idea they drove forward on Thur own you just slowed it down and steered it. I thought they would be just like a zero turn mower is. Unless that was just how the Ferris was. But yeah that baby is heavy and it’s kind of a big deal. Especially when the ground is as soft as it is in the fall/winter. I’d say that’s the only draw back. But it’s really only a problem in certain neighborhoods where they built subdivisions over swamps trying to develop the land around here and make it useful. It doesn’t chop up leaves at all but I’m guessing that’s just bc it has less deck to mulch up in plus no chute block. Do you like the walk behind?
@@lawnenforcement999 I don't have it yet physically. Its on order but watching the videos on it, its a nice mower. I looked at toro 36 inch but that was 5600 dollars and this scag was 4800. that helped me pick it more. Have it in a week or two. as for speed it can do up to 7 mph forward and 3 backwards. watched a video to see how it moves and turns. pretty easy once you get used to it. 7mph on weekly lawns should be a nice speed. and yes they drive forward on their own, you just pull the handles back or lever to slow it down for turning or back to nuetral point and then into reverse.
@@lawnenforcement999 atm no....the toro velke was 1182 dollars so i wasnt even tempted to ask about the scag version. ill just hump it to loose a few pounds.
I purchased my first zero turn mower this October it’s a 48” snapper pro walk behind. It weighs 809 pounds I used it on 1 property to do a leaf cleanup. I used it on my yard after it rained and I saw tire tracks and my wife said she doesn’t want me to use it to do our yard so I use my 30” Exmark push mower.I don’t know how to drive it that great so I went to local parks to get the hang of it. I’m looking forward to using it along with my 30” push mower I sometimes wish o would have purchased a 36” walk. I have to use walk behinds because I have a lot of properties with hills and stander won’t do well on hills with my research I did.Are a FT lawn care company?
Grassology4610 hey thanks for watching and your feedback! I can’t believe someone actually found my video. Yes I’m full time. I was really worried about the slops I have to deal with after I ordered this mower and no one ever mentioned it on hills so I was like man I hope I didn’t screw up here. But it actually works out really well for the slopes believe it or not. And I’m on slops next to water so I really wouldn’t do it if it felt risky. I was definitely nervous the first day bc this mower took more getting used to than I expected since I least had experience with a zero turn. It t was quite different believe it or not. And this mower seems to tear up yards too if I’m not careful. It may have something to do with the narrow wheel base? Not sure but I have to be real careful or it will peel grass up. Thanks again for watching and commenting!

Love how passionate you are about lawn care and your lawn mower.
I'm about to buy one of these ferris 36" for 9k. I've been using a John Deere x300 😂

Nice video. Can you elaborate more on this mowers performance on slopes / embankments. Ty

StrykerV Nice! Are you going to get a velky or whatever they are called for it? I can see the advantages to a walk behind for sure.

How the vanguard engine doing? Going strong?
Awesome review!! Thanks for all the info. Looking for a quality 36” and this one is on top of my list!!

Stand on mowers are built specifically for slopes. Not sure where you did your research but I have Ferris Z2 52" and it is a beast on hills.
Your comparison of commercial small mowers to homeowners mowers is comparing apples to oranges
How is the Ferris working for you a year later?
Hey man good review. How much?
How do you like the 23hp vanguard engine on the z1?
Im really digging that sweet ferris. Is that the 23hp vanguard on it?
Pioneer Northwest LLC Lawn Care And Maintenance Hey thanks for watching! Yeah that’s the 23 HP Vanguard. I love this mower! Well worth it!
How much is one of these bad boys😎
about 8K
9k
How much? This stuff is all new to me been watching a lot of videos on the tube with this style mower.
I think this model would be about 8K
It's like the metal is made out of paper.....hahahahahaha
Mow-ah
Supposed to be a review, not a life story.
I actually liked the life story part because it explains more of how the mower is doing. Compared to the others and also the usage of it. Good video👍
Cry about it 😂
