    That steep bank is my yard only my yard is an acre. Ordered an FW15 2 weeks ago because of your review. I did order and have received tractor tires for the mower (even before it gets here) because my yard is always moist or wet. Locking the casters seems to make the day for a slope. Ever do a bank like this on a diagonal?

    38% grade, well I'm going to the dealer this week. My yard (1 acre) varies from 8-12% grade. Any problems going side to side versus up and down?

    Thanks for the video. First showing the FW15 on a real hill. My whole 1.2 acres of grass is 8-12% grade...will mow side to side as much as possible but 2 areas I have to go straight up and straight down. Thoughts please.

    Years ago, I met the owner's son Brad investigating the bonfire which came to find out they were celebrating selling it to Walmart. He gave me the opportunity for the greenlight to do ghost tour hunts. Great family btw. Everyone needs to file a class action against Walmart for "purposely" not filling in those tunnels causing the landslides. I have no problem flying from Los Angeles to testify on everyone's behalf.

    question....i just bought a brand new z1 and had them add a mulch kit so I dont have to worry about throwing clippings, rocks, etc. My question for you is this.....with the chute blocker, do you run mulch blades/mulch kit underneath, or standard blades and just drop the chute blocker when needed? If not using mulch kit, does the grass clump up with the chute blocker closed?

    • @NorthBoroughsLawnCareLLC
      @NorthBoroughsLawnCareLLC 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depending on the time of year, I use different blades. For example, in the fall, I use mulching blades. If you have the mulching kit installed and are not using just a chute blocker, I would recommend using mulching blades. I've not experienced any clogging but as with any machine, if you put enough wet grass under the deck, it will clog up. If you're using the operational chute blocker, I would recommend high lift blades.

    I’m considering purchasing this mower as my primary (I currently have a 48” Exmark) because I need it to do smaller yards… my question is I have 1 property that’s just about 2 acres but all the rest are less than 1/3 acre I know this machine isn’t ideal for mowing acres, but would you still recommend it? In other words are you happy with your purchase and using this as your primary mower

Anyway, Imo the FW25 36'' walk behind handles the hills way better then FW15 once one wheel slips its going back down to the bottom & locking the swivel wheels is a must. Awesome footage with the FW15 on steep hills. I can relate, you really have to be careful mowing hill sides. Had my FW15 slide down hills before also. Not fun! We have nearly 300 hours on our Ferris and never had a squealing noise. Not sure if either the Hydro-Gear or Differential needs fluid. Hopefully someone will leave a comment to what it might be. I’m curious as well, if or when I experience the same problem.

      Thanks for the feedback 👍🙂. In regards to the squeaking sound, I almost feel like it's the rear wheel/axle but I can't get close enough to it when it's making the sound to be sure. I tried lifting the rear wheels off the ground then engaging the drive but it won't make the sound. It only does it when there is weight on those rear wheels and the drive is engaged..
