The lone ripper swarm that showed up did near nothing and somehow survived all game is the true MVP for the tyranids

I don't think I've ever seen Muben win a single game. Despite this hes my favorite member of Play On. He chooses the same armies as me and his bald head just reflects light the right way. You can do it Muben! Be strong!
He wins in a lot of the livestreams he is a part of, but when he is in a 40k in 40m? He's cursed man.
He did win tag team with Warmistress, it was fun since his ballsy dreadnought survive barely because of Angron failed charge

Good lord. That was the best Tyranid run I've ever seen and Tyco was basically running mostly Crusher Stampede tactics. That is insane, I wanna see more Tyco Tyranid swarm.
I swear there is no other man on earth that enjoys a 40k match as much as tycho

I think this is the best shot of all the videos so far. I love the close up and medium shots way more than mostly top down shots. Just shows off the armies and the game more. Loved it
First time I’ve seen Tyranids win a match. I don’t play but if I did, I’d pick them because I love the designs of the characters.
Tycho has got to be my favorite player on the channel. Plus he plays with my favorite army, the 'Nids, so he's got all the points with me.

Haven't followed the new edition too closely, but heck yes this is the first time I've seen Tyrannids not get stomped by Marines!
Well we have seen invasion fleet, crusher stampede, and vanguard onslaught on 40k in 40min would love to see a game with the endless swarm detachment either way great game
And we start the new year with a another Mubin result. New year...but some things never change.

I love the sort of Cthulhu vibe models like lictors and also the fact you can really make tyranids so many different ways is really great for just one single faction. From shooting, melee, slow tankers, flying boys, small rippers, and big giant warriors that look like they could fight a titan and possibly win is so cool.
Highlander is the essence of a fun game in 40k, in my humble and also correct opinion.

Either quite a few missed opportunities for forcing Battle Shock on the Tyranid side, or they just failed miserably and didn't make the cut lol. Other than that, fanstastic battle report!
Еdit: At 31:39 you need to flesh out the Tyranid strats, as this one gives 6+++, 5+++ if the unit is in Synapse range. Also, Muben's home objective was held by the Trygon once his heavy intercessors failed the Battle Shock test.
That and he used a stratagem on the battleshocked unit of heavy intercessors, which is how he killed the neurolictor. Its the little things that get on my nerves tbh

This was epic! Have to feel for Mubin though, that 4" fail was horrible. Loved the swarm tactics though and wiping out that squad at the end with the 10" charge was amazeballs. Still not even bought a model yet but consuming all this great content and it really makes me excited to get started!

Looking forward to this one. All hail the Great Devourer! And I actually own all the models in this Nid list myself as well (though I've yet to paint any models of my... weather has not allowed for spray primer for 2 solid months...). Hope they can do some work!
Edit: OOF on the dice rolls. Even with the Marine's "We have every reroll in the world!" vs Nids "Do we even get rerolls aside from using CP...?" it was not enough to skew that bad luck.
I don't know if I have ever seen Tycho lose with his Tyranids. I think he's lost a game or two that I have seen with his Death Guard, but god damn, Tycho always seems to be rolling hot and making an ungodly amount of saves. Maybe he really did strike some kind of bargain with Nurgle...

the 4" charge fail was a successful charge and that could have turned the tide a bit not much but a bit

Finally tyranids are decently played and can show off a little bit. I miss some battle shocks from the screamer killer and the neurolictor but nice macro strategy. One win in the channel finally!
I’ve never seen Mubin win a game and I’m surprised this was played to the 4th round.

At 31:41 your graphic for "rapid regeneration" says, it gives a 5+ invulnerable save, but you mention it is a 5+ feel no pain.

Deathwatch is such a hard army to play. I found the most effective units is the proteus team win max thunder hammer (4 termie with TH and Storm shields, 4 vet with Deathwatch TH) joined by a Watch Master and an Apothecary
Moral of the story, split fire and nothing is going to die

Hi Play on Tabletop! I really enjoy watching your videos, however I couldn't help but notice that at 15:44 when Tyco Charged the Psychophage at the Black star. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe you cannot charge an aircraft with a unit unless if that unit has the FLY keyword, unless if the Black Star was in hover mode then I stand corrected. Thanks!
Correct, the Black Star was in hover as that is also how it was allowed to be deployed normally instead of in reserves.

Hi! I'm actually the person who built the mini!
I used a Primaris Captain for the legs, torso, cape, backpack, and part of the left arm. A watchmaster mini was chopped up for the left forearm gauntlet, tabard, the "I" armor plates on the legs, shoulder pads, servo skull, cowl, and some of the spear. The blades on the front and back of the spear were ripped off a skorpeth destroyer. The right arm holding the spear is from a Primaris Lieutenant. The helmet is from a Librarian. The left arm is from the Black Templar upgrade kit. The extra power pack is from the Hellblaster kit.
I think that's it. I made it almost two years ago, so I might be forgetting something. Thank you for your kind words though! It means a lot!

I swear, everytime I see nid monsters they usually don't do much. Sure the emissary has solid defensive stats, but nid monsters need a boost to their strength.
