not only that, but are his Vespids actualy Halo ODSTs with winged jump packs? because aside from the Tau hoof feet, that's what they look like, and it's such a cool effect.

I love how there’s almost a mutual agreement on not explicitly chasing meta builds. It’s the perfect balance of professional and thematic. People aren’t here to win they’re here to have fun and I love that
Whenever JT talked about "Deploy Homers", my mind kept visualizing a bunch of Homer Simpson clones in power armor popping out of a drop pod to secure an area. 😅
I don’t why but something about nick makes me feeling like right before he goes to bed he says one nice thing about everyone he knows then kisses all his t’au
Am I the only one that noticed on 27:50 Pathfinders rail raifles wound on 6 which is devastating wounds? that would turn this game around much earlier...
Damn... that last single point of difference could be the same one Nick made in the very first battle round, when he scored 3 points for secondaries to Steve's 2s!
"The greater good never rest until the universe achieve harmony" -ToaNick- TauNick Dude that paint job is well done, as if Nick painting an army of Macross' Skull squadron
Came to say this! The Terminators in the middle should have been dead turn 3 and Nick should have held the middle and been able to fire Longstrike at something else. Not to mention the Commander and Crisis Suits. That would have definitely improved his score and left Steve hanging much earlier.
I was wondering about that when I heard rail rifles were being used. Then again I was hearing numbers that were not lining up in a few places so I kinda just filtered it out (I swear I heard an ap 3 shot at some point get turned into basically ap nothing?). In the end victory still went to Nick so end result is the same, but tight game none the less.
Holy fff-- I had no hope but you did it by ONE point. Well played Nick, what a awesome (and very close one! You guys know how to play on my emotions) game!
This is the first match I have watched in a while and I love it!! You guys always look like you are having so much fun. Also I am proud to finally say after all this time, Nick has a new Ally I just got my first models and I have Commander Farsight and the Combat Patrol box! Thank you for introducing me to the joys of this table top game and wish me luck making my first models!
Holy Cow Guys! One of the most amazing battle reports I've seen in a very long time! I'm super glad the channel is doing well and really impressed with the quality of content! Makes me really proud to have been a Level Up! supporter Lol...
Hey there quick rules commentary. the guiding unit has to shoot after the guided unit, doesn't matter a huge amount but some player can be very picky about this
By the emperor that was a really tight game! Always a blast watching 40k games. Looking forward to more MCP games though. Those were fun to watch as well.
Cool game! This is very reflective of how most my 10th edition games have been, super close until the very end. You can say all you want about it, but that makes for a great edition.
1 point wow. Very entertaining. Nicks enthusiasm is always infectious. Just one quick question, has Steve actually won a game on the channel? I want to believe in Steve…. All the best from down under Lewis Sydney Australia
Sounds good, are we going to maybe see Space Marine Steve on the Blood Angels and Tau Nick piloting the Tau? Excited for this one! 😁 Edit: Woo! Great to see Nick and Steve for this game!
Nick's army looks so awesome, I strive to have a tau army as cool as that. he's the whole reason i got into warhammer, might even steal the paint schemes 👀
Loving the videos, guys. Just started watching the channel, and LOVING these 40 min videos. My one problem is that I love IW, so looked for some on the channel, but got suggested a Fists video :(
I love this format of 40-min-battle-report. I cannot afford (and I do not watch) any more 2-4 hours reports with all the chit chat going on. Keep it up guys! ;-)
Holy crap Nick wasnt kidding when he said "repainting", they look Amazing!
not only that, but are his Vespids actualy Halo ODSTs with winged jump packs? because aside from the Tau hoof feet, that's what they look like, and it's such a cool effect.
@@burnin8able Potentially an infinity model i'm not sure but the helmet definitely has that vibe.
The are a conversion. Swapped the heads and put on a fancy backpack from puppetswar.
Thanks! Means a lot!
@@PlayOnTabletop I also recently started to repaint a lot of my own tau collection, if they look about half as good I'll be very happy
Beach?
Here’s the obligatory: “even in death, I still surf”
Only in death does beach day end.
Good thing Nick had his Beacher Team there when the Flood Angles arrived.
@@JustinTheMid only in death does (lifeguard) duty end
This is my favorite thread.
@@JustinTheMid There is the beach and nothing else.

What a match! So happy as always to sponsor Play on Tabletop! Hope people like all the love for the T'au in this new kickstarter campaign.
I'm definitely getting the bundle.
FOR THE GREATER GOOD!
Thanks for your support@@Palisloth

Best comment I've seen in a while 😂
to be fair, seems less like he doesn't kill anything because he split fire and more like his opponents simply roll well.
I love how there’s almost a mutual agreement on not explicitly chasing meta builds. It’s the perfect balance of professional and thematic. People aren’t here to win they’re here to have fun and I love that
GO TAU NICK GO
Whenever JT talked about "Deploy Homers", my mind kept visualizing a bunch of Homer Simpson clones in power armor popping out of a drop pod to secure an area. 😅
Why you little!!!-whilst choking a Tau.
Doh!
Steve’s dice rolls were insane
Secondaries tell stories 😅
I honestly feel like this tropical board is my favorite battlefield you guys have.
T'au Nick has been getting back to back close victories, I swear. First the White Scars and now the Blood Angels.
I don’t why but something about nick makes me feeling like right before he goes to bed he says one nice thing about everyone he knows then kisses all his t’au
Hammerheads whiffing every single opportunity is such a vibe
Am I the only one that noticed on 27:50 Pathfinders rail raifles wound on 6 which is devastating wounds? that would turn this game around much earlier...
Nah man, I realised that too
Went to comment section just to find that one
everyone makes mistakes even the best gamers
Damn... that last single point of difference could be the same one Nick made in the very first battle round, when he scored 3 points for secondaries to Steve's 2s!

i just love nick. i get angry at games maybe a bit too easily, but the way he encourages you to do well and his excitement. its all so infectious
God those deadly print studios effects on your models just look so good. This channel has the best painted armies in 40K.
"The greater good never rest until the universe achieve harmony" -ToaNick- TauNick
Dude that paint job is well done, as if Nick painting an army of Macross' Skull squadron
I think it is TauTak now
Oh hey the commander I painted for nick! Guess I'm rooting for the tau today!
The pose and effect on the Y'Vahra are great, nice movement and impact.
This is a small thing but I really like the BGM choice for these videos - really adds to the coolness vibes to these games 😎
Absolutely love these battle reports! I always watch them while building some of my guard. Keep up the amazing work lads!
Ayyyy just rewatched the last time Tau and Blood Angels faced off on this channel! Talk about good timing lmao
27:49 Railrifles have Dev wounds so those 2 6's should of been Auto 3 damage each
Came to say this! The Terminators in the middle should have been dead turn 3 and Nick should have held the middle and been able to fire Longstrike at something else. Not to mention the Commander and Crisis Suits. That would have definitely improved his score and left Steve hanging much earlier.

STEEEEEVE, I SEE YOU!!!!!!! The guy with the hammer made it through that skirmish! Brutal, bro.
I love the though that the T'au were just casually chilling on a beach and the Blood Angels felt like that was an affront to the Emperor
Nick’s enthusiasm with the ups AND the downs of the game is the whole reason I plan on getting into the hobby side of this game
Great match. Both players gave it everything they could. Result wasnt certain until the end. That's some peak warhammer right there.
Steve’s blood angels are crusty :p compared to his new paint jobs . Can see a clear improvement in his painting journey ❤❤❤
27:50 NICK!!! That was 2 Dev wounds!!! NIIIICK!!! That would have iced two terminators!!!!! NNIIIIICCCKKKKK!!!!!!!
Nick should do an updated army showcase
Holy fff--
I had no hope but you did it by ONE point. Well played Nick, what a awesome (and very close one! You guys know how to play on my emotions) game!
It's so good to see Steve with his energy back. I hope you are doing well!
Guys you are amazing! so jolly! and the strategic swings back and forth! Thank you :)
Just bought a great flyer stand from deadlyprint for my.Ravenwing Dark Talon thanks for pointing me in their direction.
Really love seeing the "Classic" Marine vehicles in the list. Looks like a great mix of old and new in this BA list. Love you guy's production values.
That was a sick batrep!!
But damn the music was slappin' this episodes!!!

Best of luck! Nick will be pleased to have a new ally! We're so glad you enjoyed this!
Well done Nick, those Tau look incredible
BLOOD ANGELS!!! Thank you! Great match! So close. Great game.. The furioso did some good work. So great!
I have been dreaming of making a tropical beach table like this for years.
Yours is a lovely inspiration! Very awesome!
WOW, what a game! I'm loving Steve's play these days. Nick is always a delight, of course.
Steve's dedication to running a 5th ed BA army list full of Principia marines warms the cockles of my astartesian hearts.
Wow the tau empire models paint job looks fantastic!
Holy Cow Guys! One of the most amazing battle reports I've seen in a very long time! I'm super glad the channel is doing well and really impressed with the quality of content! Makes me really proud to have been a Level Up! supporter Lol...
Ah yes, my first two armies duking it out in glorious combat!! Keep it up Play On :)
That was an amazing game! WOW! Great game Nick and Steve!
Man, that was one close game. Also, awesome paint job, Nick. They look awesome!
Love nicks new paint job!
Nick you missed some Dev wounds at 27:50!
Doh!
Nothing like watching a beach theme battle on a hot summer day by the beach. ⛱
Reports like this is why I am interested in the Tau. Nick, his enthusiasm, and the design of those fantastically painted Tau!
Heads-up, pathfinder rail rifles have devastating wounds - so the 6’s to wound should’ve stripped away terminator saves entirely!
What a great close game! Love when it comes down to the wire
I love seeing games like this. Nail biting endings are the best.
Man this was awesome so freaking close!!! Cant wait to see the next game. Killing it guys
Hey there quick rules commentary. the guiding unit has to shoot after the guided unit, doesn't matter a huge amount but some player can be very picky about this
I love Nick's Vespid models so much lmao. They are such an awesome take on them and i absolutely love them. Gives me real Halo ODST vibes.
Loving this board so much, kind of a fun change of pace
I've been watching all of Nick's Tau videos as I get back into 40k and plan to build a Tau army, and this is the first match I've seen him win. 😅
Once more, Steve gets no beaches
Great game you two. I loved that it came down to a snipe on the Librarian at the end of the game.
this editing............................................................................ superb
Yeah, I noticed that too
Thank you 🥹
For the greater good
This was an epic fight. Genius.
I’ve never played actual war hammer before and I have no idea what they are saying and I still love it
Ohhhhh my how close was that? Literally the last available move too! Brilliant
I would love to see those kitbashed surfer orks in this battle
Man the dubsteppy base line in the background is so fire
So Close!! Way to go Space Marine Steve!! You’re awesome!
1:32 Love those terminators from Space Hulk ❤
Ahh the beach episode Amazing.
I loved that final round. What a show.
By the emperor that was a really tight game!
Always a blast watching 40k games.
Looking forward to more MCP games though. Those were fun to watch as well.

Hippity Hoppity, blood angles steal t’au property🔥
watching this game all i can think of is with the Furioso is the line from the DOW 2 opening cinematic dreadnaught "I've come to destroy you".
Cool game! This is very reflective of how most my 10th edition games have been, super close until the very end. You can say all you want about it, but that makes for a great edition.
This was excellent! I truly thought Steve would be the winner.
1 point wow.
Very entertaining.
Nicks enthusiasm is always infectious.
Just one quick question, has Steve actually won a game on the channel?
I want to believe in Steve….
All the best from down under

Steve does have wins. Thanks for watching!
Ooh the 2 armies I collect in 1 video! Can't wait to watch this :D
Sounds good, are we going to maybe see Space Marine Steve on the Blood Angels and Tau Nick piloting the Tau?
Excited for this one! 😁
Edit: Woo! Great to see Nick and Steve for this game!
Maybe Tak will end up getting bullied into running Tau 😭
Nick's army looks so awesome, I strive to have a tau army as cool as that. he's the whole reason i got into warhammer, might even steal the paint schemes 👀
Great game.
Great players.
As always fun to watch.
Please keep the good work and hope you get the views to have this become you full time job.
25:22 Steve's rolls are pretty obscene in this fight, he rolled like 30 dice and had almost all of them on a 5 or 6
Loving the videos, guys. Just started watching the channel, and LOVING these 40 min videos.
My one problem is that I love IW, so looked for some on the channel, but got suggested a Fists video :(
More kill team videos Please!!!!!!!!

Two armies that got massive love from GW recently. Love to see a rematch down the line with the buffed BA detachment vs New Kroot
32:32 Like the Kool Aid man, OH YEAH!!!
Queens of the Stone Age esque tunes are awesome. Love it.
games like this are why I still play 40k at 41 years old. Playon all day erry day son!
This was so incredibly engrossing!
Another amazing battle report!
Those Vespid proxies look sick.
Awesome. Just scores a fiver right before the buzzer and wins the game! 🎶Don't stop believing
Love the special effects on the minis
For the greater GOOD! and plus 10VP for the Max-Power Line Hat sir
Those Terminators putting in some lore accurate work, goddamn!
I love this format of 40-min-battle-report. I cannot afford (and I do not watch) any more 2-4 hours reports with all the chit chat going on. Keep it up guys! ;-)
