Good video
Not sure i would call adding a 3d printed cover on my ks0 a game changer, but a cool accessory
Thank you!
GAME CHANGER without any metric... You can do better.
Metrics Posted in Comments and in Video Description. Thanks for the Support!
Thanks for the video hobbyist . To be honest i was a tiny bit disappointed with the content... when i read GAME CHANGER (all in caps) i was wondering if we had any new firmwares for our KS0andPROs in order to keep up with the crazy hashrate..
Anyway, keep up the good work 💪💪💪
Sorry to disappoint. Did you purchase the TSWIFT firmware?
Hi @@TheHobbyistMiner , i have a version of 160 GH/s on my KS0. Is there any better one out for the KS0?
Don't take my comment the wrong way, i hope it was constructive criticism. Seems nowadays a lot of the content creators have WOW factor on the tittle.. if we keep this trend the videos that do not have such wow factor are the ones which will appeal to the audience 🤔?
Yeah... he didn't even show if it really cools down the device like a before and after result... I guess this is all way sponsored vid...
I used a 3mm x 45mm screw to attach my AC infinity fans on my 3 IceRiver KS0 units.
That is good to know! I will let people know! Thank you!
Same here M3 but I used 30mm length. Was plenty for a 120mm 5v fan

Is it a good ideia to submerge the ks0 and pro in water or oil to incriese ificency like u did with the ACICS but using a custum tank considring the lower power usage so that the sema pump and radiator have the same amout of heat and u can put a lot more of those miners in a larger tank ?
@@JoaoMoreira-mg4zj I wouldn't go so far as immersion for a KS0 or KS0 Pro. Maybe the KS2 or 3
THM dude i have been working on a 3D printed plate like this i am going to use pla as the temps are below 150* but i am only making a rear grill as i want the heat to come out just the rear, very cool my STL files will be for free.
Is it a lot of work to design? Where will the files be once they are done? Also if it's not too much work can you do it for the front as well?
Thanks for doing this
Very Cool! Keep me Posted
Can't wait to try printing your plate. Thx for doing this.
Thanks to all your advice and suggestions I was able to convince my parents to buy me a ks0 pro for Christmas so thanks for all your videos they mean a lot ❤
Good for you!
Mine are in a shed outside in Canada; they don't even need a fan right now
I bet they are nice and cool, what are the temps there now?
@@TheHobbyistMiner its only about -3 Celsius about 37 F here now usually its colder by now but its a mild winter here in Saskatchewan so far
I love mining Kaspa! I do not have a miner yet!
Can you please let me know the screw size of the 120 mm holes for the KS0 Pro? My upgraded fans came with the wrong size, many thanks.
What screw you use to mount the fan ? Does it come together with the fan ?
2024 will be the year of Kaspa🚀🚀🚀
I hope so!
Better to buy Kaspa with the money paid for these extra accessories 😂
Yeah, sure. Because a 120mm 5v fan is breaking the bank. Dumb take. What are you even talking about? Probably why no one has responded to you until now.
@@alexevans5043 the fan will not do anything extra man. I am running 2x KS0 since August and i know what i am talking about. The extra fans and the new adapter will cost you around 1000 kaspa and the mining will be the same. So dumb take indeed.
You could jst drill sone holes in the factory plates, they are aluminum and easy to drill out. 14 bucks is ridiculous lol
I have them to, only homemade
I'm averaging 294gh with the one I have OC'd, waiting for the other psu to come in to do the other! Wish I would have had them a month earlier though
Wouldnt a fan blowing on one side and the air coming out on the other side be better? I wonder if having the fans blowing against each other dont create some kind of "heat wall" preventing some parts from cooling...
I thought so too. Besides u can just blow one and the other work as suction to pull out air like how an exhaust works
Thanks this looks much better.
I want to buy a ks0 pro. But I feel like ice river will release a newer model based on how fast the pro came out after the ks0.
Do you think there will be a new model anytime soon?
Why is this better vs leaving side panels off and blowing air thru sides w AC fan?
I love kaspa miner but I want a miner
Where can I get those blacj screws to connect ac fan to the ks0 pro.
Amazon. m3 and 30mm length
Mine are in a Guest Bedroom in Florida...fans required!
I have had mine in the basement keeping it just warm enough to deal with the cold.
Help. After 20 hours working green and red light are off, fun is working, but hash rate are zero and webInterface not working. Plug power off and on = asic start work again. After 20 hours the problem repeats itself. I have 3 asics and all have same problem. Help!
Have you Factory Reset it?
I've noticed that my integrated fans do not stay at the level I program via the dashboard. Have you ever noticed that? Not sure why the fan settings do not seem to stick.
When you reboot they reset. Bad Design.
@@TheHobbyistMiner I have it happen overnight or during the day when I’m at work. Do settings reset if there is an interruption in network connection?? Not sure if that is the problem but looking for clues….
Anyone know where i can get the Tswift overclocks?
From tswift via discord or telegram. 600 kas was the price last time I checked
I ordered one from asic marketplace. Let’s see how she does !
Heck yeah!
Ks0 miner no hashrate showing ? Machine is running , change the pool but no hashrate
I never saw your follow up on KS0 KS0 pro stats daily? Did you make one?
Those barrel connectors would be perfect for my 750w psu... Free up some outlet space lol
Smart Idea!
I will uas aluminum for making cooling grills. It will be more efficient. And it is very easy to work with. U just need to cut and make holes 😀. Y to buy?!
Do you happen to have a new affiliate code for IceRiver? Thanks so much!
I do not sorry. However I do have a code for ASICMarketPlace.com, Can use code "thehobbyistminer" to get $120 Off. Their price includes shipping and import tax. IceRivers does not.
You can upgrade this cooling system by making a cartboard box and putting it on one end of the ks0 pro. Box must reach the fan and have empty space from the edge of asic. This way the fan will force 40% of air into the box and box will spread it between fins and from the center. I have this going and works great
Cardboard ... Hmm I will pass on putting Cardboard near these HOT miners.
@@TheHobbyistMiner Temps are 49/26c. Surface warm but not hot at all. Would rarher have plastic or metal box but cartboard was easily awailable.
@mand5422 I dont know who Uncle Chuck is, sorry. But if he did a similar video, kudos to him
@mand5422 i just checked what chuck did, never heard from him before. His desing is very different from what i described. in his version the fan is attached to box, in what i described its normally attached to kso pro.
@@SuperVilsiyou make no sense. But it’s ok, no one’s going to try using cardboard lol
Does that PSU board gives out 19V? as i read KS0 PSU specs it said "output voltage 19V" Or does it work with 12v also?
You can get those custom cables from theveteranminer and connect to a server psu. yes it runs on 12v and many use these and i have yet to hear any issues caused by running 12v versus the stock 19v. Jump on the bandwagon
How come you dont have an extra fan blowing through the side panels? From what i gather its recommend to get as much airflow through the side as possible due the mosfets overheating?
Yeah, the guy who provides the overclock recommends a fan blowing across the PCB via the removed plates
@@Mr_Hundredaire
Im getting around 300ghs with a 120mm 5000rpm server case fan blowing through the sides. Have 3d printed my own mesh side panels and it runs nice and cool.
you think these models are still worth it for beginner miners?
These are great for New Miners!
I wish they sold the 3D models so I can 3D print myself.
I think they avoid that from people just reselling it.
I will dislike all videos where you play ad content made by advertisers. The ones where you talk about a product you care about are fine. Thank you for placing it at the end though. Thanks for letting us know about the grill for the KS0 😊
You don't think he deserves to get paid for the massive amount of time and effort that goes into researching and making videos like this? If you like watching great content like this for free, you better be okay with watching an ad every once in a while.

Hi, i have 10x KS0Pro and want a HP Server Supply with Breakout Board and Specual Cable. Where to buy, do you have order details? Regards
Wow 10! Go Checkout theverteranminer.com
@@TheHobbyistMiner I found a cable.
I'm wondering if the 12V from the HP power supply is enough for the KS0Pro?
The KS0Pro normally needs 19 volts.
Is it running stable for you?
What does it look like if I go to 280GH with the Tswift Firmware OC?
Does the 280GH also work with the HP server power supply on just 12 volts?
Thanks and Greetings
Diego

all this info and you can't take a few minutes to find the screw size?

My overclocks don't work on mine only able to get 228GH on mine with the 260OC talk about a shit lottery
I have heard the quality of the silicone is so drastically different per month, its nuts.
had the same issue with my 2 ks0 non pros. one runs 154ghs on 102w and stays decent temps, one runs 135ghs on 110w and gets hot with higher rejections. big difference
it is what it is maybe when the 360GH comes out i might get luckly@@TheHobbyistMiner
my temps are good just runs at 131w for 228GH no matter what i do @@AlteredComponent
That’s why I haven’t bought it yet. Waiting to see if they can deliver on the 300+ version that’s actually stable and working on most miners

its been few mins since i closed this video, and still asking myself question " whats so game changer"
you put a mesh on miner and call it game changer? really? i'm so pissed off right now, i opened this is in excitement to get some game changer news specially when kaspa miners profitability falling, all i get is promoted mesh filters .. god what is game changer in any sense? one more rubbish video/title i'm going to unfollow you.
I appreciate the feedback. Keep it coming!
Oh no, how will this content provider ever survive with you unfollowing lol. If a video pisses you off that much, I’d probably try to find a new hobby
You probably don’t even comprehend why kaspa’s profitability “is falling” as you say. It’s natural any time more miners are sold and online. Every ks0 is adding to the difficulty, thus you aren’t going to mine as many coins each day. Every miner is like that. But I’m probably wasting my time with you
