Smittybilt JK Stainless Steel, Powder-Coated Door Hinges

Becuase I live in Canada, Edmonton to be exact, road salt is something we have to deal with in the Winter months. These conditions have taken their toll on my stock hinges and it's time to replace them. With factory replacements costing over $1,000, I decided to go with quality Door Hinges made by Smittybilt. They're constructed of high-quality stainless steel, so you get the kind of performance you expect. The black finish looks great and is perfect if you want to give your vehicle a more aggressive or even a "murdered out" appearance. You can use these on Wranglers and Wrangler Unlimiteds, but the kit comes with hinges for just two doors. Matching black bolts for attachings the hinges are also included to complete the look.
Since Smittybilt makes these Door Hinges out of high-quality stainless steel, you don't have to worry about corrosion, even if you live where it snows often during the winter. Each hinge is built to the same specs as the stock parts, so durability and fitment aren't an issue. The black powder coating is also durable, resisting scratching, including on rough trail runs. The included hardware is made of stainless steel and has the same powder coating on the bolt heads.

How are the Hinges holding up after year 1?

They're mint; no sag; door is still lined up perfectly; most imprtantly, no corrosion at all. So far so good. I will be doing a review of them soon.
