Omg. Can u do a video how to create categories? For example, I offer Nails, and wax. And I have different type of nails services and I don’t want to list a long list so I want to do a categories. How can I do that?
Hi. I think you can create different “items” that you can add variations to. I use both the services and items sections to add services.
how are you set up? i dont have an add ons. is this an upgrade in your account or modifiers or something?
Hi. I’m not sure what you mean by “set up.” I just added my service and you can do add one and modifiers to add extra services. I do pay for a few extra things that amount to about $60 a month if that’s what you mean.

Just ordered the smaller white wireless reader but not crazy about how a 1000$ job turns into 974 but is that just the way it is for everyone who accepts cards ? What is your preferred method of payment. The square appointments app confusing I’m going to wait on that
I set up appointment over phone for now
Yes credit card companies always take a percentage like that. You can always off set the price to include the fees also. Some people do that.

It means you can add the fee amount to the total to off set your fee cost.

How do I add the option to choose the clients location?
Hi You can choose both options in the settings, to either have them come to you or client's location and when people book online they can add their address.
@@MirandaDetailing cant seem to do it, in the settings it shows to put my location as mobile, but doesnt give me the option to put it for customers

PHIL CAN YOU DO A 2020 UPDATE AND MAYBE A TUTORIAL SETUP OF APP............I HAVE THE SQUARE JUST HAVE TO SET UP BANK INFO, I WANT TO LIST SERVICES AND TAKE DEPOSITS (NON REFUNDABLE) STRICTLY THROUGH THE P.O.S OF SQUARE ONLINE BOOKING

@Miranda Detailing I would also greatly appreciate a video on how to set this up. My online booking site through Square does not look the same and does not have anywhere for the customer to input their location.
does square offer a complete bookeeping system? like Quick Books?
Not exactly like quick books. But it does offer a simple transaction tracking. It doesn’t have expenses though. At least not yet! Hopefully they will work on that.

Its pretty decent but ive noticed it doesn't always behave like you think. Like mine would always send out texts to customers even if i select not to notify them. Some of my repeat customers (dealerships) didnt like that so i had to basically turn off the entire feature. 😟 It also has a way to email a tos/contract but i also couldnt get that feature to work.
Yeah they have a few bugs to work out. But I love it still.
