  • Are you having trouble getting your Bose Quiet Comfort 35 headphones to connect to your iPhone via Bluetooth?
    If you cannot get your headphones to pair using the standard method of holding the power button on, try this one time alternate method to download install the firmware update you need.

    I had this connection issue with my Samsung and tried for months to pair it to Bose HEADPHONES and now it finally did... I rarely post TH-cam comments but I had to this time: THANK YOU SO MUCH!

      It especially works in cases where the power button is broken and the device won't go into pairing mode, this is a fairly common problem so many resort to cables.
      But once you're connected to the Bose app, you can manually select another device it should also connect to, I don't even have an iPhone.

    Wow, the NFC pairing was genius. This completely fixed my pair. Thank you for the video. Bose only offered to give me a $50 discount off MSRP instead of fixing this. I paid less for the headphones originally than the cost of their replacement. I guess it's true what they say, Better Order Something Else. The quality isn't there.

    I faced the same issue while switching over from my Samsung Android Phone to my OnePlus Android Phone. I fixed the issue by updating the firmware using my Samsung Galaxy phone and then removing the Samsung galaxy phone from the list of paired devices from the Bose Connect App on the Samsung phone itself. After doing this, I was able to connect my headphones to my OnePlus without any issues..

    Im sure your instructional video is great but cannot hear it through my very expensive Bose headphones nor the tinny speaker on my not very smart Samsung phone. Sub titles would be handy. I now understand and appreciate the difficulty of day to day living for the hearng impaired. I think my problem is because they have connected to two devices. And alway connect to the phone second despite the other device being physically about 300 meters away.

      I had to download and open the Bose app first. It might detect the headphones and tell you to swipe up on the screen but ignore this because it will tell you that you need to enter pairing mode. Instead just keep the app open and then do the NFC tap. It worked for me after that.

  • @paulbrown5839
    @paulbrown5839 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    To make the headphones go into pairing mode you have to use the BOSE software on your iPhone and add/remove/add the "LE-Bose QC35 II" bluetooth device (this device is confusingly not quite your headphones but some kind of installer or pairing stage, once paired to your phone the headphones show up as a device called "Bose QC35 II", note the missing "LE-" prefix). To get the iPhone to hook up to the headphones (after i stupidly disconnected them), i had to mess with the "LE-Bose QC35 II" bluetooth device on the iPhone. Disconnect that "LE" device, then reconnect it! Once it is reconnected, the BOSE app on your phone will get busy and instruct you to pair the headphones. It will tell you to push a button on the headset to put the headphones into pairing mode. Unless you do this messing about first , that button has no effect on pairing. Once the software tells you to push the button, do it and the blue LED activates! Then, you can pair the phone to the headphones. Just now, i managed to get my headphones hooked up to my macbook over bluetooth. To do it, i had to use the BOSE software on my iPhone to put the headphones into pairing mode, then the macbook could see it. Before i did that, the macbook did not see the headphones. Nightmare. Probably in the instruction booklet but i of course threw that away years ago. No need to thank me. Enjoy.

    • @NickC9545
      @NickC9545  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If Bose had a goal of making it as difficult as possible for their customers to pair their headphones easily, then Bose has exceeded all expectations.
      Your instructions make sense. I know I'm not supposed to thank you, but thank you.

    Didn't work for me. Still cannot pair using NFC using a Note 9 nor Note 10. I have contacted Bose Cust Svc & they didn't even teach me this method. Not able to even teach me how to factory reset. I wish someone knew. They offered a trade up to Q45 for £209 (Yes Pound Sterling) similar to buying a new one in USD now. I'm out of my wits. Can only hook up using the wired cable with all buttons on Q35 not working. And I don't even know if this method has noise-canceling.
