I had the same experience, tanked the first strafe and was duelling the Lazar for like 3mkns before I swapped to mgs and shot him out at VERY close range.

Based on your video editing skills, as well as the Astro Soup inspired theme, I think the Pyro deserves its own half hour appreciation video as well! I could watch these all day and we all know how beautiful the Pyro is.

I remember the first time I ever used water with this thing and it’s kinda underrated underwater despite the rare chance that you get in that position but when ur in water missiles go slower which makes it easy for you to evade and you can also just dolphin dive out and really quickly switch to missiles and kill that mk2

Running people over can only get you so far with c4 at their feet so I have gotten really good at driving at full speed parallel to them, tap the e-brake to turn slightly lining up a missile and blasting, boosting off without even slowing down. Takes a lot of practice but nailing the timing is so satisfying!
The toreador has become my main vehicle to go with when I catch some freeroam lobby lazers or even so sort of mosquito infestation in the lobby, one of the best cars to combat nuisances in servers.
I got this thing about 6 months after it cane out, Its been my main vehicle ever since. Everything about it is a more laid back pvp vehicle If you don't like pvp, but like staying alive in a public lobby. This is your car. If used well you can dominate basically every vehicle in the game It has pre-nerf mkII missiles, one of the geaviest armours in the game and the ability to dive underwater. Can boost off of pretty much anything to fight in the air, land or inbetween and is strangely fast and easy to control. Its perfect
