- Two people, locked in a chase inside an airport hanger, come face to face where one has no interest in winning but merely escaping and the other is seeking vengeance.

This short film was partly inspired by Star Wars Theory, I (Danielo) have been a big fan of his for years and seeing Shards of the Past made me want to eventually create my own fan film. I'd love to one meet him and thank him for the ongoing push to never apologise for loving star wars.

Is this sequel or prequel? The personages are like from the sequels, but the lightsaber fighting is more like from the prequels.
The fight choreography inspiration did come heavily from the prequels you're right. But this is an independent story away from the main universe of star wars. Looking to make another this year.

sith aint what they used to be anymore tehy were powerful not only in the force but in their emotions the sith that i really see as real sith could kill 20 jedi only by using the force these were the real sith its a shame to see someone like kylo ren who isnt even able to kill a rey who is the trashest jedi ive ever seen kylo ren is not worthy to call him self a sithlord

Were the girls in love? Did Kaiya break up with the sister and she committed suicide or something, is that why he's tried to kill her?
There is a plan to do a full film of this universe, but short answer is Kaiya was in love with Ria, until Ria inadvertently betrayed her with the military causing Kaiya to die. Thats why Obi, Kiaya's brother, blames Ria for her death.
Hate to be a critic, but would you really call this a 'Duel' ? And, aren't the Sabres supposed to spark and crackle when they're cut in half ?
Just saying. Maybe a Post oversight as it did hang on that scene for a bit. The Sabre Drag is getting old. Everybody uses that now. But that's just me.
I thought I might see a wing get a scorch mark or one of wing supports get severed. But, I know these effects aren't super easy.
And what gives ? He lost His sister, it's Her fault and she Still gets what she wants ? It was kinda short. A few quick shots of him rebuilding his Sabre and coming back to reclaim what was his. That would have been epic.
I don't give a crap about, what's it called, Toxic Masculinity. He was robbed by someone that was At Fault and Not even Family.
Could have been a Great 10 minute featurette.
Listen to put it nice this sucked I like the fighting and the effects of the sabers but if you didn't cut the camera every single damn time maybe i can see the choreography and why is this so damn short that was barely a fight and couldn't even see what was happening all the time
Lol also literally like 3 lines total to attempt to make a story but it's very generic and cliche. And the choreography isn't great, which is probably why they need all of the cuts. Lighting and cinematography look amazing but everything else needs a bit of work.
