Changing a word in a paragraph does not always change the meaning of what is said. Your religion (Watchtower) says that Jesus is NOT our mediator. Most JW's don't even realize this. The Bible teaches that a person cannot sidestep Jesus as mediator and try to go directly to the Father. We ALL need a mediator. That mediator is our Savior Jesus Christ. That is what Christians mean when they say that the JW's have denied Jesus Christ as Savior. The Watchtower has said that people have to come to them to be saved. They (the Watchtower) have subtly inserted themselves as mediator instead of Jesus.

@@dirkfirkle73to be fair, the Hebrew Bible says no such thing about anyone being a meditator. It says to approach God YOURSELF and to repent and follow his commandments. Paul took it upon HIMSELF to make the argument that the priestly class was still relevant to the Jews but to all the world Jesus is what mattered, because they didn't have to become Jews to be approved believers. And the first century church agreed, asking them to simply maintain 4 basic requirements from Leviticus that the law set to make alien residents acceptable in Jewish society. Nowhere does Jesus ever say he's replacing the law for Jews. Relaxing perhaps. But it wasn't until his supposed resurrection that he told the disciples to go preach to the world, which they didn't, and that's why Paul took over the mission. At least that's a take on it, nobody really knows for sure and we're mostly relying on Paul acting like a pompous jerk who blames God for his thorn in the flesh which he also considered a blessing (?) and third party "historians" like the author of Acts and much later guys like Eusibius.

Trusting the Organization is equated to trusting Jehovah:

@@dirkfirkle73to be fair, the Hebrew Bible says no such thing about anyone being a meditator. It says to approach God YOURSELF and to repent and follow his commandments. Paul took it upon HIMSELF to make the argument that the priestly class was still relevant to the Jews but to all the world Jesus is what mattered, because they didn't have to become Jews to be approved believers. And the first century church agreed, asking them to simply maintain 4 basic requirements from Leviticus that the law set to make alien residents acceptable in Jewish society. Nowhere does Jesus ever say he's replacing the law for Jews. Relaxing perhaps. But it wasn't until his supposed resurrection that he told the disciples to go preach to the world, which they didn't, and that's why Paul took over the mission. At least that's a take on it, nobody really knows for sure and we're mostly relying on Paul acting like a pompous jerk who blames God for his thorn in the flesh which he also considered a blessing (?) and third party "historians" like the author of Acts and much later guys like Eusibius.

There is *NO HIDDEN MIND CONTROL TECHNIQUES* used by us. Yes JWs are controlled buy tgheir love for Jesus and their love for the Almighty. The so called techniques you describe are common in any organistion. It is our relationship with God that motives us to do the will of God
