If you are struggling to progress, YOU NEED TO MASTER THE BASICS. Watch this video and focus on these 7 areas: th-cam.com/video/xS4p3ImIw3g/w-d-xo.html You WILL get better!
BRILLIANT!! This is the tutorial that I've been waiting for! What can I say brother? You definitely delivered. I'll be going with the drills that you've recommended, and eventually I'll be trying the "single leg hop" move also, now that you've demonstrated it and pointed out the advantages of it. The slow motion demo really helped. Great work, as always, coach. You're undoubtedly The Real Deal Holyfield of jump rope skills! 🤘🔥
very cool. I figured out crisscross by starting off with my arms already crossed, stepping through the loop and then just jumping rope but w/ my arms crossed. This taught me where my hands needed to be. After working with that for a bit I was able to start doing criss cross. I'll mess with this today. Thanks!
No wonder why I was having a hard time I was trying to lift the leg up on the side I side swung on this makes it way easier just need to re condition my thinking and this will be a nice new fun trick to implement into my routine.
Your videos are just getting better and better!! I am not talking about the jumps because you're already awesome. The way you talk to your followers has improved so much. Keep up the great work!
Oh man, thank you! It has been a learning curve getting use to talking to the camera and relaxing. Still have lots of room for improvement, but I really appreciate this comment🙏🤙
It's the Crossrope LE Freestyle Rope. I have them linked in the description. Search freestyle on the site👍 This is my favorite PVC rope by far. It's slightly stiffer than others and I just trip a lot less with it.
Hello... I am Rishi I started jump rope in April 2020. I do it every day for 45 minitues. I reduced weight. Now i feel my legs getting too skinner . Is it because i jump too much? Should i try something else ?
@@Jump15official good question, gotta say neither. My fingers, mainly the outer meaty part of my index fingers where the handle makes contact with the skin, tend to get kinda swollen. And Its kinda discomforting, maybe I shouldn't jump everyday, rest up until full recovery then test things out with trial an error. I feel like the swinging motion plus the grip pressure maybe causing issues with tlmy blood flow. I've got like 5 ice packs in the freezer that provide relief and massaging my hands and fingers help. But dude, the 2LB rope is starting to get easier and I feel like double unders will be happening soon, with my 1/4 lb rope. Cheers!
Wow! Looks like I'm Lucky! Just saw this on Reddit by chance and the video was posted yesterday!!! I have been trying to figure out this move since a week! Saw so many videos too but only this one helped me to understand. Especially @4:18! Thanks a lot! ps - I found the Reddit forum when I googled - "why does jump rope feel so good!" :)

That's a good method for criss cross as well. If I remake a criss cross tutorial down the road I'll have to include that as a drill as well👍
Wow I’m gonna try that, thanks for the tip

What type of rope are you using in the video. I like the ropes that are all white. To me, they look better.

Maintaining or gaining muscle has tondo with caloric intake. You need to eat more if you feel your losing too much weight/muscle.
gonna try this out tonight, dude, my fingers have been really sore from jumping rope, ive gotta constantly ice em, is this normal?
Can't say I've heard of that before. Is it from gripping hard or are the handles rubbing creating discomfort?

Yep, single leg hops are better option.
Fo sho!
The cross isnt the issue, its after jumping through. Its an odd move
Thanks! Quite Helpful!

Excellent Kyle, as always. Thanks.
My pleasure bud!
