I just noticed that the two police officers in this episode were played by two Super Sentai alumnis Green Two (Bioman) and Yellow Turbo (Turboranger) respectively.
Aslo it's about a cop, not that cops are inherently bad, but that's not going to stop some idiot from complaining about something 30 years out of context, police brutality and prejudice is a major issue but complaining about a cop in show changes nothing
Janperson is a lot different from previous metal heroes simply by virtue of the hero literally showing up from nowhere and disappearing right after, no explanation being given for who he is or why he does it... Even the theme song says as much.

I thoroughly enjoyed this... but I find it especially hilarious that for Janperson to deal with the remains of the two evil robots who were literally just meters away from him he had to get in his car, seemingly drive for kilometers and launch a copter too :D

Muitos perguntam aqui sobre o por que dessa serie não ter passado no Brasil. Infelizmente a Rede Manchete estava já em crise e não tinha mais aonde se pegar. A péssima administração fez essa emissora falir. Mas com todos esses problemas dela, era a única emissora que abraçou a causa dos tokusatsu no Brasil nos final dos 80 e 90. Se tudo corresse bem, com certeza, Jamperson estaria no Brasil e fazendo um baita sucesso, como Exceedraft e outros inéditos. As outras emissoras, infelizmente não teriam feeling para tokusatsu, como a Manchete teve. Mas agora podemos acompanhar graças a este canal da Toei. Obrigada Toei, nós brasileiros agradecemos muito essa oportunidade.

Anteriormente solo había visto el opening de esta serie y había escuchado el ending pero no vi un episodio de la misma hasta hoy y por lo visto este Metal Hero es el primero "100% robótico sin forma humana" que es protagonista de su propia serie a diferencia de los robots que estaban en Winspector y Solbrain que eran parte de equipos que no lideraban, y por cierto esta serie tiene tremenda acción, aparentemente en 1993 las series tokusatsu del momento estaban llenas de acción y dramatismo y no sé si cierta película del año anterior sobre cierto héroe insectoide mamadísimo y atemorizante no habrá influido en que Janperson y Dairanger tuvieran semejantes niveles de acción y drama
Eu amo essa série porque ela é recheada de participações especiais como a Megumi Mori dos Liveman, Jou Onodera de Kamen Rider Black RX, Touta Tarumi dos Flashman, Junichiro Katagiri dos Turboranger e Kazuoki Takahashi dos Changeman. Essa série é demais!

Really enjoyed all the practical fx for super strenght. Wish tokusatsu was available in the UK when I was a kid. The closest we ever got, other than MMPR, was Gerry Anderson shows such as UFO and Space Precinct.

Really enjoyed all the practical fx for super strenght. Wish tokusatsu was available in the UK when I was a kid. The closest we ever got, other than MMPR, was Gerry Anderson shows such as UFO and Space Precinct.
