2nd episode of my favorite tokusatsu series of all time doesn't disappoint. Dystopian science fiction themes mixed with some old-school cheesiness, plus a villain that's like David Bowie with the hairstyle of the Mach Baron villain, you can't go wrong.

This is my first time watching through this show and i gotta say, the action is absolutely astonishing. Im 14 and i really appreciate the shows in this era, they arent too crazy and colorful like the newer shows like Donbrothers and Kamen Rider Revice, and not too old and boring like the original Ultraman (Which i did watch but it felt like a chore, It would require nostalgia to get through but i liked the costumes they used.) Its just in the right period of time where it has a nice action and a cool action tone with some cool aesthetics to it. And for a show in the 80s the special effects are insanely good. Metal heroes definitely deserves more recognition.
I _need_ more Janperson! The design and model work is so on point, I've actually decided to buy an old DX Jeycar. I haven't picked up toku merch in a solid 8 years or so because nothing new has caught my attention the way that car has, and I don't even like Corvettes.
Anyone else expecting the boss' name to be something like Darklord Holocaust or Overlord Gigadeath or something appropriate like that?? 🤔 But instead of those, all we have is: hiya folks, the name's Ben Fuji-somethin. Nice to meet yall 👋🤣
