- This is a quick rundown of the features and benefits of the 2017 Honda CR-V EX. In my market is by far the most popular of the model. This video should give you a feel for how the benefits and features work in case you've already bought this car or are considering it.

Hi I know you posted this video ages ago, but I just bought a 2017 crv and I love it I am just super worried about the lock system it seems like it does not lock. I click lock and check via handle but that just unlocks everything is there a simple why of learning this I mean I live in a condo I fear I lock the car someone comes by trys the handle and the whole damn car is open what gives??
The vehicle has smart key entry. So if the key is in your pocket and you touch the door handle it will unlock. You can set the walk away auto lock to help out with this. Once you get 10 feet from the car it automatically locks. I love this feature.

Just bought 2017 EX L. Having hard time pulling into carport, can't judge the width of the front as the sides flare out above wheel wells and I can't see them. Any tips or suggestions?

Buy a CD player and connect it via the AUX jack if you need it. It's pointless to offer it as an option in 2018.

stockjonebills so what you're describing is called low-speed follow. The 2017 CRV EX and above does use this with adaptive cruise control. So to answer your question yes you can use this in stop-and-go traffic.
Wow thatsvery cool. I thought there would be a speed requirement for it to work. I get in long commute traffic on the highway but at times I might be going 5 to 10 mph. it varies.
There are 4 "following" setting 1 dash is the follow close setting 4 keeps a far distance. I prefer using 2 dashes. At least in traffic.
Will the defrost engage with remote start if you leave it on the night before?

It is connected to the door locks.

*Justin Fuller* I'm considering buying the prestige variant, but I've noticed that the speedometer/Tacho is different to the model here. I happen to think that this one here looks the better of the two, as it makes for a change away from circular dials, albeit they're digital. So, as some car makers give you a choice in such displays, from your experience with the top of the line model, could this be the case with the prestige variant, inasmuch as it's circular feature can be switched to what you have here. Apologies for the long explanation, but there's no Honda Dealer close by to me, the nearest being hundreds of kilometers away. Thanks in advance, cheers...
In the 2017 and newer models the Speedometer/Tachometer should all look like what you see in the video. The previous body style 2016 and older would have the analog version. I do not know that you can replace one with the other. Typically the dealership will always recommend it be replaced with the same part.

Yoomi Kim the side mirrors do fold in. However they are not automatic/electric.
I'm about one and a half minutes into the video. You've mentioned about half-dozen features and you don't say if they are standard or extra cost features.
Honda does not offer packages. Every feature is standard on the models I review...
What is the light at the top of the speedometer, it changes from green to white as you increase or decrease your speed.
If u take off fast it's white .regurly take off green red to aggressive

Where do you insert the key if you don’t use the push to start button ?
Keyfob just needs to be in the car, then press the start button. There is not an option to manually start the car with a key.

I am trying to determine if the crv has the ambient overhead lighting in the map light/sunglasses holder. I see a white light that looks like it is the ambient lighting such as the blue one in the pilot. Can you verify this please. See the 8:19 mark.
krismall there are 2 map lights you can turn on and off. Outside of that there's no additional lighting by the sunglass holder.

What is the cost to install navigation to 2017 cr-v ex or exl ?
it is not offered as something you can install. However both offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which would allow for navigation on the touch screen in the vehicle. This would be the most affordable option and easiest.
Where is the remote trunk release in the car?
I believe it is to the right of the "hold" button.
