I'm in the market for my fourth Honda CR-V because I love them so much. I started with a 2005 and have traded up each time. Now the dealer has my 2014 in their lot tonite and I have this same exact 2019 in my dooryard, so I can "think about it". Your video was so unbelieveably informative, and better than the three seconds I got with the salesman. To his credit, I think he assumed I could figure it all out on my own but some of the controls just aren't as intuitve as it was in older cars. I can't thank you enough for explaining all of this and also confirming why I couldn't figure out how to make the lift gate go up and down (I have the EX).

If you have a thumb drive with music you want to listen to, make sure it is all in one folder on the drive. The car is not able to search through multiple folders to find the music. So everything will need to be on the thumb drive when you open it. If it is set up this way you should be able to find the music.

They have moved away from Honda Lane Watch, which is what you are describing. They now offer blindspot monitoring in the mirrors. There is a small icon that will alert you if someone is there. it will give you an audible alert if you start to get over.

@@JustinFullerReviews Thank-you for your quick response. What about the oil dilution problems they had with the previous models. Have they fix the problem on the 2019 models?

We got a CR-V EX 45 days back and I have to admit we didn't even know that half of these features existed in our car. Thank you so much for the awesome video.
We are trying to figure out how to tune the hd2 radio channels. None of the videos available online are helping. Doesn't this vehicle have HD radio?
    THANK YOU.

Thanks for watching. I believe only the Touring model CR-V comes with HD radio. When you have it on FM and you tune into a station it will tell you if there are HD stations available. it should be pretty easy to distinguish.

Is there a special cable I need for Android Auto? I have some spare USB-A to USB-C cables from when you buy items, but it didn't work. All it did was charge my phone. I definitely have the app, and the phone is connected via Bluetooth. I just want to see maps on the screen.

Why would they make the interior door pulls tan? That's gonna show grime over time.

Typical a overhaul is every 5 years. So I think we are a year or two away from that.

Thank you Justin for reviewing the features. I have a question. I just purchased a 2017 honda crv ex-l. While driving the vehicle a average mpg signal pop's up. I understand the car has been sitting on the lot being tested by different customers. While driving the pop up said 12.5 mpgs, while I was driving it on the highway it improved slightly to 13.4 mpgs. This seems seems ridiculously low mpgs for this honda crv. Why is it showing such low mpgs? Does the avg mpgs vary from driver to driver? Does the reset for the odometer need to be reset? In order to get accurate avg mpg reading. why is this showing such low mpg readings. Is the car getting poor mpgs? Will the mpgs improve as the car gets to know my driving. While it improve on long distance driving. What type of mpgs should I expect? Again this is a 2017 crv ex-l model with AWD.
    Thank
    Rick

I can answer that, not sure if you still need it.
The MPG number shown is an average of the MPG it has achieved since the last time it was restarted (I have mine set to reset on trip B every time i fill the fuel tank). Being in a dealer it has probably spent more time idling than being driven, thus it is consuming fuel while not gaining any miles, which yields a ridiculously low MPG. As you start driving, it starts clocking in miles thus the average MPG goes up.
So to summarize, the MPG you are seeing is due to the vehicle being idling in the dealer. When you start driving it, you'll see that the average MPG will go up. To see the real MPG you are getting from your driving patterns, you will want to reset the MPG counter.
