You are the only person that is not annoying when making jokes during tutorials. Honestly every time someone does this I cringe and click away, but yours are honest and not forced so they go well with the flow of the video. Great job dude.
Dude I cant thank you enough!!! For the last 4 years ive been learning from you, and i am very thankfull for your videos! I started photoshop in highschool and i aced that class thanks to you!!!
me too, i've been watching his tutorial since im in college, very useful for my entire life ., now im teaching other ppl to cz his tutorial, thank you so much Phlearn
Here's another useful tip if you are using the Vanishing Point Feature "The bounding box and grid of a perspective plane is normally blue. If there’s a problem with the placement of the corner nodes, the plane is invalid, and the bounding box and grid turn either red or yellow. When your plane is invalid, move the corner nodes until the bounding box and grid are blue." You can ensure a better perspective with an understanding of the above aspect of VP.
3 shadows, layer clipped to group, marque tool + lasso tool equal 3D frame, these are awesome tip for compositing, Aaron, I bet you are angel of the world in phototoshop. thank you, my tutor
Aaron is there twin versions of you that teach every subject in LIFE!?!? Like Nurse Jennys from Pokemon... Seriously I learned more from your videos in one hour than all my 4 years combined of art school.... which I'm going to be paying the rest of my eternity for....
My 5 yr old son caught me watching around 19:50 when you were moving the frame around and it looked so real that he thought you could control physical things remotely
Brilliant! This is the 5th video off yours that I've watched while trying to figure out which version of PS is right for my creatives and after binging on your tuts, I'm going for the whole megillah. Your personality is as perfect as it gets for a teacher. Thank you, Aaron.
I’ve started doing mock-ups for my poster sales and this learning how to use the vanishing point perspective tool will help make my wall art look fabulous!! Thank for this clear, concise explanation of how to edit shadows, etc to make it more realistic. I will look through your other videos to see what other nuggets of “nowledge” I can uncover. Thank you!!
With this video I learned one of the most important things I've learned from Photoshop in a while: Pressing the Space Bar while using the Marquee Tool, you can move that selection around before finishing it. NICE!!!
I literally never knew you could click that plus symbol and get extra shadows or layer adjustments.... that was the gold in this whole tutorial...well aside from your personality. Subscribing now!
I thought the Vanishing point was most useless tool, it turned out to be really useful. Thank you Aaron for making it so simple. I use set this manually which was pain.
Thank you Aaron!! I love how before you start teaching I think through how "I" would do it (I'm at that knows-enough-to-be-dangerous stage), and yet always wind up learning so many tips and tricks and advantages from your methods. Really appreciate you sharing your knowledge!
Man, this is exactly how I feel about his videos (and I have used Photoshop daly since version 2.5.1). I guess there is always a little something we can add to improve our method.
This was great and don't forget now that you've cut the center picture out if you group it together as a smart object you can put any picture you want in the middlel without having to touch the frame again.
Awesome as usual. Some people can teach good but don't have the best knowledge and some people have great knowledge but can't teach. You are one of the rare ones that have both. Plus you have a nice sense of humor and a great personality which makes the tutorials fun to watch while learning great stuff!!
I love you! I've been struggling with adding a two dimension rectangle to real estate photos, with the correct perspective. I've never even looked at that ''perspective'' filter until this video came along! Thank you!
thank you very much! i appreciate all of the help and guidance. my professor wouldn't teach us this and said that we would have to learn it on our own time when it comes to producing the final project look.
You are such a good and thorough teacher. You take the fear out of trying some of the editing tools and I am learning new techniques from you, thank you! I enjoy all of your self-corrections of your made-up words, they're lots of fun! I find myself making new words, too. Great minds... :)
I have been a lot of videos from different channels, to be honest your channel is the most interesting and beneficial for the learners. Thank you so much, you made it easy and fun😍
Oh my God!!!! The BEST video about PH ever!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍 thank you so mich!!! You have a new subsciber. Amazing! You should be a teacher, natural teaching talent 🥰
this was so easy explained and I learned a lot:) loved the "boom" :P Im learning more with ps cause i wanna make my art digital, and its so fun to tweak with Midjourney and then finish up in photoshop:) Thanks a lot :) Love from Norway=)
So cool!! I started watching this thinking I was going to learn about what perspective warp is, but the mock-up I needed to do was simple enough that the vanishing point filter - which I'd never used - was sufficient.
No matter what I do I cant get this to work. When I am in vanishing point and I click command V it simply turns my vanishing point into a square with blue corners. My image is in my clipboard so I have no idea what I am doing wrong.
Hi Aaron, just a suggestion. In 2:35 when you selected the photo along with the white card frame, the shadow would be opposite to the other area of the photo frame that you were selecting and flipping horizontally. Only select the picture in the middle without the border and it will look more convincing.
If you look closely, the illustration has a mat-board surrounding it and then a frame. They overlooked the shadow that is also generated by the mat-board. That shadow should have been flipped from left to right.
I wrote about this in the Photoshop CS4 Bible - great feature! You can use it to do some basic camera matching when compositing 3D objects in Photoshoop. 3D in PS can be super frustrating, but this is still great for getting shadows positioned right. You can also close stamp in there, which is awesome for copying textures, windows, etc. in perspective.
thank you sir. Im giving thanks from my heart. If i someday comes to abroad,im gonna come your place for giving thanks. This video literally helped me sir. Thanks
You are legit just so awesome. I love how you really explain simply and specifically which helps because there are sooo many tools to learn! thank youuu
Never knew of this feature, but I’ll sure be using this a lot from now on. It looks super useful! One point of feedback though: when transforming it’s best to use smart objects as not to lose any data. It also helps with transforming a masked object as it clips to transparant edges when turning a mask into a smart object. Haven’t tried it with vanishing points yet but I assume it works the same.
Well done, Aaron, you provide so much wonderful information in all your videos. Well structured, smart, clear, well-paced, appropriate content, good amount of humour. Streets ahead of all other 'teachers' on TH-cam.
I'm loving this. I've been working with Photoshop since it came out (yes I'm that old) and there are just some things I've never been able to do well. Perspectives. Realistic Shadows. This was a great teaching video. Also love the mispronounced words. I do that all the time. lol Actually mine is more I combine two words that usually are similar into one word. Thanks for the joyful laugh.
Hi Aaron, Thank you so much for your channel and your PHLEARN "30 Days..." I have learned so much in the last 16 (I am following it through) days, than I the whole 20 years of Photoshop. Your way of explaining the Dos, Hows and Whys is easy to understand even for a non English mother tongue like me. Thank to Joe Edelman too, for he suggested me to have a look at your tutorials.
You are the only person that is not annoying when making jokes during tutorials. Honestly every time someone does this I cringe and click away, but yours are honest and not forced so they go well with the flow of the video. Great job dude.
That's exactly what I did, I ended up finding an image that worked better so I didn't need to do this xD
