It’s always fun watching these kind of videos but “how to” videos should have some kind of verbal or written instructions otherwise it’s just a “watch me work”
Absolutely, the vibes there just 50% gone but it still there something to learn it. Thanks for the creator it so much work they put in from record, edit and published it, Thanks! 🙏🏻😊
I love that there are no voices. It just gets straight to the point and I can watch and learn. And I can see them showing all the different ways to deal with problems by showing how the different tools work
@@JohnnieSprinkle This is very easy to follow and i only got Photoshop today, If it was so bad I dont think wasting your time commenting on the video is going to help.
I have to say this video has a lot of amateur time consuming processes that could be cut back on heavily but all the same I love seeing others workflow so I can keep improving my own!
Nice 👍 this is how I used to create shadows. but I've recently started using exposure layers to create shadows, it's so much better. Hey you should try that. Benny Productions uses it too. Anyhow awesome work 😊👌👌
Amazing work you are doing, keep creating more, I will suggest some of your videos to my audience too 😊 we should do a collaboration together someday 👍
Question = Why does my camera raw layout look different than yours, I don't those lists of tiny icons that you selected to change the details, I have a vertical list with a few sliders, I'm using Adobe Photoshop 2023 v24. I'm asking because I don't the any luminance slider under noise reduction options.
Some great replies here. Some negatively lame. You're showing us 'your' method, super quick, which is good. Love the way you use the shadow to hide the composite meeting background....brilliant!
What is the point of the video? Showing / teaching, or showing off? Which would be most helpful to anyone viewing it? After all no one like a show off, not saying he was trying to show of , but your comment is not appropriate towards those who wish to learn. :) No harm intended.
Any tips when you come into creating clipping mask, cuz mine still says Layer 1 not 2 and when I click to ad that mask or something my subject doesn't turn to grey.
The content is great, but It is too hard to follow what settings you are using prior to the technique. It's great to see you work, but this really is more of a "watch you work", especially with the music that ends up distracting. I know putting words to the video is not always easy, and perhaps not your strong suit, but what could be a terrific tutorial is lost on most except the previously experienced viewer. It either needs a some form of instructions - written or verbal - and a highlighter of some sort showing where you are going.
You picked an easy image that already matched the background quite well and you didn't match the shadow colours or delete the excess shadow that fell off into the background.
I wish you would have gone slower or at least showed how you got to the next step. I appreciate the video but I can't even see what sub-tools you're using.
Why you didn't use blend layers options ?? that would save you a lot . you can match colors first with curve highlight, blacks and midtones.. There is always a more simple way to do this unless you wanna use AI now in Photoshop which kind of killed creativity and doing stuff manually instead of an AI machine .
Greetings, thank you for commenting, the video was re-uploaded and by the time that video was made, the option to which I think you are referring did not exist... currently there are a number of methods that can do the video in a second, and yes As you say, AI is killing creativity.
It's not really "how to" rather than "that's how I work" tho. Also end product is not the same as presented in the working process. You nedd few more steps to get the end result picture. Except that, nice video.
takes too damn long when you have to make 100s of these, I think we need to develop technology that can make these quicker... Billion dollar idea for someone to go ahead and do it ....
Huh??? If I knew enough about Ps to identify the tools and functions without having the actions described to me, I wouldn't be watching this tutorial. Flashing a few functions on the screen IS NOT a substitute for telling me what you're doing, especially if the video is sped up.
A Nice video , however when learning how to do something, its simply not good enough to show how somethings are done. There has to be some explanation as why they are done , and in what order, otherwise the whole process is fruitless. So I' m another who thinks audio silent videos with fancy music tracks playing in the background are all very nice, grandiose. and very professional looking. But they really defeat the object of trying to teach someone something. When you are trying to concentrate on learning something that to the learner is very complex, there's this music in the background that hinders learning . Then on top of that like I said before , there is no verbal explanation of anything. this was quite a good blog,, that's why I am commenting. most others in this format I would have shutdown after 15 - 20 seconds. I hope others out there who make video tutorial like this will heed the notes I've written here.
This is a process demo that is helpful to those who are familiar with the app and just want to learn about other ways of doing things. As a designer, I find this video interesting.

Well said . I find them meaningless to be honest
A voiceover explaining what is happening instead of music would have made this a helpful instructional video.

Image processing, retouching, poster design and production, professional wedding photo retouching, ID photo
Working with a curve adjustment layer instead of a gray layer is easier when you work on shadows and highlights. You can always go back and adjust it.
this video is awesome I can just follow along brilliant
Thanks!
Thanks ❤
Thanks man! This was honestly very satisfying and very informative to see you work like that!
good video, I learn so much
My friend... this video SAVED ME. Thank you sooooo much. 🤜🏻
Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
How So?
That looks realistic
I find it amusing that some people literally demand that you create content to their liking.
The shadow should be in the opposite direction of the light source, but nice alternative technique though. GJ!
Very helpful
Thanks
i mean for a 6 layer project this is very good!
Bonjour
Merci pour la vidéo super .
Thank you so much. its my first time using photoshop and its confusing as heck. this is the only tutorial that worked for me, simple and fast.

No bro i use the mouse

Thanks for posting! Advanced techniques and you nailed the final result. Ignore the haters.
So my problem came up when the background was being edited instead of the picture I was intending to blend. What's the solution? Where did I go wrong?
Clipping mask. Apply it to the photo you want to edit. Otherwise it’ll edit the whole document.
it helped me a lot , Thank you
thanks for your coment
Does it work for cs6?
Would be good to explain on how to do it, instead of watch me do it! Still nice outcome.

You saved me big time with this video. Thank you!
I followed these steps but after I created the layer 3 to add shadows it didn't add shadows it would only add them on the original background layer
Sure you are clicked on to the right layer? :-)
Woow, thanks for that amazing tutorial. Great work
