It's crazy how much they have made me love Tifa's Theme in these remakes. I didn't hate or love her old Ps1 theme but these renditions are now some of my favorites.
@@declancook2335Something about it immediately communicated “underwater vision quest” to me in a way that completely put me at ease. I don’t know, it was weird.
The soundtrack in this game is amazing! I just got to this part tonight and Tifa's memories along with her music in this scene was beautiful. This is a variation of Tifa's Theme but it was done in a style similar to Garnet's Theme from FFIX. Anyway, I can't wait to see Cloud and Tifa revisit the lifestream in the next part of FFVII's remake trilogy.
Sephiroth tried to get rid of Tifa, thank fucking god he failed.Tifa is the key to saving Cloud. Sephiroth overlooked Tifa in the Orginal and here, he has learned from his mistakes.
One of the overlooked things about Sephiroth in my view is that arguably his biggest weakness is the fact that he’s still human. I saw someone break it down where the fault here is his ego. He’s still so pissed that someone as “irrelevant” as Cloud was able to defeat him. So for him, it’s personal and he doesn’t just want to accomplish his goals, but he wants to torment Cloud whilst doing so (and by extension those around him). I’m pretty sure that if he was just laser-focused, he would accomplish his goals. But alas, hubris gets in the way.
This version is a beautiful take on Tifa's theme, yet incredibly haunting at the same time. It's the use of the organ and the choir which does it for me, the former almost makes this come across as a funeral dirge, while the choir sounds like ghostly children playing.

Tifa's theme is almost too strong. It really had to be quiet and gentle here not to overpower the rest of what was going on. Any scene with it just immediately arrests me because it's heartwrenching.
There's even this very subtle undertone, that sounds almost like the classic sound of 'flat lining' on a heart monitor. I was so worried and sad! Did anybody else think this? Or maybe I'm just making up a weird connection that wasn't intended.
As far as I can remember, It’s not known, actually. We may finally know what caused her death in part 3. I’m willing to bet it may have been an accident (she went up Mt. Nibel and she was either attacked by fiends or she unfortunately took a wrong step on a wooden bridge)
The Planet: (To Tifa) “Hey don’t forget, *YOU LOVE THIS GUY.”*
tifa s theme is absolutely beautiful
These music composers really know how to fit the music into a cutscene
beautiful like her, inside and out such a wonderful character

Same!
I was freaking the fuck out initially when the Weapon swallowed our girl, but then this theme came on and I knew it’d be alright.
Really? The organ made it sound almost like a funeral song to me, I started to freak out way more cause I thought she was gonna die. XD

Chills. This game deserves many awards and 2024's GOTY
I just wonder how the finale will be able to top this!
@@alexmh6131the thing is… it doesn’t really need to. I mean, this is more than enough.
I can’t get over just how many songs are in this game. It’s such a labour of love
I think they said near 500 pieces of original compositions?
😱

Yep this is correct

You worded this perfectly. So well fitted for the scene too.

They cooking something MAJOR for Tifa in the third part. Much more than her original role in OG. Bet.
I love this song too

This franchise has taken so many of my tears
You know what this reminds me of? Trent Reznor's instrumental cover of Life On Mars from David Bowie.

Is 3:56 what you’re referring to? Because I can definitely hear it with headphones. It’s like a flatline noise that you hear from a heart rate monitor
@@dr.edwardrichtofen365 Yep, exactly that tone. It really got into my subconscious and I associated it to her 'death'.
