John. Thanks. I always look forward to your viewing and commenting. You're right the camera guy was smart enough to stay way off to the right and duck, there were some stray rounds out there. lol. Thanks again John. Take care and Happy New Year!
Our local shop had rough rider 195.00 you beat me i never been indoor range easier contrate outdoors. Gonna warm up. Next week I'm up in air next one hope merry Christmas happy safe healthy new year
Jeffrey. Thanks for viewing and commenting. It may take me a while to get used to indoor shooting. Seems to be much easier outside. Thanks again and hope you have had a nice Christmas and have a Happy New Year and take care.
Nice collection Bobcat! I used to make collectibles with the Rough Riders until taurus ruined them. I still have several of them and several of the Rugers, both the Wrangler and Super Wrangler 👌 👍 The Rugers are built really well! Nice video Bobcat! 👏 Hope you had a great Christmas!
@CountryRimfire+. Thanks. I appreciate your viewing and commenting. I agree that the Wrangler is better made than the Heritage. I have had several folks mention the Super Wrangler seems like that would be a nice gun I like the idea of an adjustable rear sight. Plus, I saw that a company has made an adaptor to put a DOT on the Super Wrangle. Thanks again and take care.
@bobcatforever3485 The super Wrangler is also steel framed, not Zamak. It comes with both the 22lr and 22wmr cylinders. Half of the revolver is identical to the single six and even has some interchangeable parts. Premium Gun Grips makes a lot of different grips for them also to spruce them up a little. I was planning on doing a few videos on mine this winter 😉 The adapter sounds cool 😎 I will have to look into that!
@@CountryRimfire Thanks for the additional info. Sounds like a very nice gun. If I were a bit younger, I would look into it. Also, if you put a video out on that I will for sure look forward to it. Thanks again.
Morn.BC ☕️ Thanks for sharing I also picked one of these heritage, Roughriders up few months ago there practically giving them away. Mine is not real accurate, but I'm sure if this was the only gun we had we would get good with them lol I do love shooting a wheel gun first time I have owned one and it is fun stuff 🤠 Happy Holidays🙏🎉
No Pro. Thanks for taking a look and commenting. Those are low cost and fun guns to shoot. I'm not a good shot and even then, I was still able to put six rounds on an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper at 10Y. If I was keeping one of those around as a bit of home defense, I would be loading them with either Mimi Mags or Velocitors that would hit a bit harder. Thanks again and have a great day. Happy holidays to you also.
Mrsmel269. Thanks. Those are fun guns, i don't shoot all that well, but still fun. Shout be a nice weekend, we are actually to hit 60F the next couple days. I hope you have a great weekend and ease into the new year as well.
Hi Bobcat and thanks for the video. Indoors is not as fun as outdoors but we do what we have to do. I shoot a lot of indoors. I have 3 Wranglers one a Super. I like them better than the HRR. I had 3 HRR and two of them had lots of misfires ,, The two 6 inch ones but the 4.5 was a good one.
Hoosier. Thanks for viewing and commenting. I agree the Wrangler seems to be a much nicer and better made gun. If I am correct, I believe the Super Wrangle has an adjustable rear sight which would be great. Thanks again for sharing your experience with the guns. And take care.
Well I have one of the original Wranglers. I think it's made better than the Heritage. But I have 13 of the Heritage including the carbine. I don't know why but I prefer the Heritage. I don't remember any keyholes. I haven't tried the Super Wrangler yet. I do have a couple of the Single-Six revolvers which are far better than the Heritage and Wrangler in my opinion. I always wanted to go to an indoor range and keep shooting someone else's target until I get kicked out or beat up lol.
@Boomstick. You have a great collection of Cowboy guns. You could be the Sheriff and form your own posse with all those guns. I need to shoot one of those Heritage with a different ammo and see if they still keyhole. I will have to keep an eye out for you shooting at my target. I can tell you just want to have some fun! I bet you got in trouble in Jr Hi. lol. Thanks, and have a great New Years.
Nice set! The camera guy must've known about the Wrangler shooting left!
