@pentecost66. Thanks for taking a look and commenting. One thing for sure I have work to do. Hopefully I'll something better to post in the future. Thanks again and take care.
@PrecisionPellets. Thanks. I appreciate your taking a look and commenting. That is a fun gun to shoot I don't do all that well, but it makes nice big holes in the targets plus I can reload for it. Thanks again and take care.
No Pro. Thanks. I appreciate your viewing and commenting. It is a nice gun, but I shot it really poorly. I reloaded some 200 Gr XTP ammo for it today and will give it another try. Thanks again and have a great evening.
@CountryRimfire. Thanks. I appreciate your taking a look. Poor shooting but will do it again with some 200 Gr rounds I reloaded today. Thanks again and take care.
@Boomstick. Thanks for taking a look. I agree that is one nice trigger it's a shame, I can't blame that for my bad shooting! Thanks again and take care.
It's a dirty shame you're not able to work up a descent load that can group under two inches with that single shot rifle. A while back, I used to have an original Springfield model 1873 trapdoor in .45-70 that I was able to group two inches MOA at 100 yards with iron sights using my handloads.
Greg. Thanks. I appreciate your viewing and your comments. You're doing some great shooting. Mine has not been anywhere near that good. Shot the .44 Mag again today with bad results. Plan to take the scope off and check everything and start from scratch. Here is the best I did with the .44 Mag. th-cam.com/video/wYYTxVT7QI0/w-d-xo.html thanks again and take care.
@preblecs. Thanks. I appreciate your viewing and commenting. I appreciate the info on the bullets. I think I have all of that so will give it a try. I was shooting the .44 Scout again today and it was a disaster. I'm going to take the scope off and check everything from the bottom up. I did a video about 15 months ago that was not as good as your 1" but was not bad. Thanks again and take care.
BB. Thanks. I agree I did not remember it being that light. Can't blame the trigger for my bad shooting! Thanks again and take care. I just reloaded 38 - 200 Gr XTP's today to see if I can't shoot the .44 a bit better next time. Thanks again and take care.
Sometimes it’s fun to figure out what works best keep trying and keep posting.

Hi Bobcat, cool little rifle. When you think about handgun cartridges, you dont think 100yards 😂. Good shooting, thanks.

I have the older version of that gun. Try the Hornady FTX 225gr with 20gr H110. I'm getting about 1" at 100yds consistently.
