This was really interesting to watch, but it's also crazy that people's medical records and blood samples are still there! I can't believe the hospital wasn't required to dispose of these when they closed.
They could've just sold or donated all that equipment, medicine, and spare blood to other open hospitals or General Practitioners before closing instead of just letting all of it sit there and rot away. Talk about wasteful. 😞
The waste in America is ridiculous. I watch dumpster divers pulling perfectly good food out of the trash daily. Why isn't this excess donated to someone who can repurpose or use it. I see chairs in the hospital that I could use .. but instead they leave those supplies to rot and charge a fortune for medical care.. what's up with this country?
Consumerism. Stanley cups, fast fashion, all these big companies make way too much and far too many people buy it. People don't need new handbags every season, new clothes every season but because media says you do people will continue to buy, buy, buy and whatever doesn't sell, sell, sell will keep making it's way to the dumpsters. Until the entire country decides to change their ways these big companies will continue to produce unnecessary amounts of crap to which a lot will end up in landfills.
That not being able to afford to eat in hospital is totally fucked up! I’m in the UK and I know people call the NHS but if your poorly here you just go to the nearest hospital and they look after you, Feed you 3 meals a day and make you tea and coffee all day and that’s on top of giving you medication and medical care! It makes me realise how lucky we are when I see stuff like that!
American health care system is a big pile of crap. It’s amazing how even with tax payers money they are unwilling to provide something as basic as food for the people in need. The Cleveland clinic even has a corridor connected to a hotel so people can rush directly to the hotel after a surgery and stay there because it’s cheaper than a full day of hospitalization. As a medical worker from overseas, that thing killed me a little bit on the inside.

I started watching your videos years ago before I was a nurse, I have such a different perspective seeing these abandoned medical facilities now that I work in healthcare. The propofol (milky white liquid medicine) is an anesthetic to put you to sleep (also one of the drugs Michael Jackson used). For the vial with the liquid on top and the powder on bottom, you push down on the top and the pressure causes the rubber stopper to drop down into the powder and releases the liquid so you can mix the med before opening it to draw it up!

Hey Josh, this pisses me off, I'm literally livid. 😡 What a freaken waste and not to mention the HIPAA violations. If I knew where this was, I would seriously notify the state of all the biohazardous stuff left behind. And not to mention the patient records have the social security #'s in them. 🤦♀️ And you young man, should be wearing gloves and a mask in a place like that. All of you should. I remember watching this channel back when I was a Freshman in High School. I’m 20 years old now and decided to come back and watch your content. I’m subscribed now :)
I cannot believe what I just saw. Down right, atrocious, appalling, and disgustingly gross. If the facility was alerted beforehand it was going to shut down, staff and personnel had plenty of time to get rid of the unused items and equipment to other hospitals nationwide that are experiencing a shortage of supplies, equipment, and medicines. Also, once doing that, why didn't they call contractors to demolish the facility?! It's the proper thing to do. All the patient files, isn't there a method of storing or archiving files on those numerous computers?! Speaking of which, the computers, couldn't they be recycled to neighboring hospitals or clinics?! Right now, my head is spinning badly. I feel so nauseated, like I want to throw up. The collected blood specimens and other samples collected, correct me if I'm wrong, isn't that biohazardous waste that should be discarded properly or find other ways of storing it properly?! Or, couldn't they have sent all the collected vials, tunes, cups with specimens to a contracted lab facility or pharmaceutical company that with their equipment, and capabilities they can store or warehouse the items for a paid, limited time/duration or maybe unlimited?! I'm still feeling sick. Next time, you young men go on an excursion that you don't know what you are walking into, suit-up. Where protective gloves, goggles, or a complete face shield. There were boarding exposed and dangling, even insulation. You could have come down with asbestos or methylioma. One of you said, I can't breathe. Question: Does this young lady suffer from asthma or respiratory problems? Carry an inhaler or two, or possibly a portable oxygen tank or gadget. I'm still sick and queezy. Also, next time, pray before you go on these expeditions. When you are about to encounter or go on an endeavor that's unknown or foreign to you, you meditate on it, pray on it, and get a blessing. You never know what you will encounter or pick up. All I know, is that I'm still not feeling well, and just watching this footage, perhaps, I picked up something. That place should be completely shut down by the government. The demolition crew should step in to destroy it. Any innocent person or child can wander in this facility and pick up something accidently. Really?! What's the next excursion?! Abandoned prisons, morgue, cemeteries, funeral parlors ?! I hope, I never accidently tap to see it. Good Luck!! Be well. Loved the program. Not the reaction. I'm still sick. m.t.lopez
I know I’m a bit late on this, but I just came across your channel. Not sure if anyone else commented on this or not- I’ve worked in a hospital lab for 20 years. I can tell you that those empty blood bags you found were already given to the patient. Some blood banks hold the bags after the patient is transfused just in case the patient has a reaction. The bag would be sent for a bacterial culture if a reaction happens. And those little tubes or segments on each blood bag are used for testing to make sure the blood is compatible with the patient. Love your channel! Keep doin what you’re doin!
Josh my boy! Yeah those big wheel chairs are fun (if ya dont get caught playing in them) 3 or 4 of us would get in them and roll around. IDK but this is one of the more sad videos, knowing the financial hardships people endured even asking to have a tab for hospital food that's so sad. As always, thank you for taking us to all these amazing places and showing us the world through your eyes. Much love always!!!
Best video yet. Wow. Just wow. Other than the fact that this is a massive HIPAA violation that today would cause you massive amounts of fines hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars in fines to be exact this I know because I'm actually an RN who works in a hospital in Minnesota. Other than that this place is pristine natural decay beautiful just the way it is great find Josh... Wow i love it.💯%
I'm a Nurse in Australia and i love these videos especially when stuff is left behind. The wheelchair at the start of the video is for bariatric patients so overweight/obese which is why its so big :)
Hi Josh, Steve, . I can't believe they left everything. Even donated blood, urine samples, syringes, and blood draws of HIV. The patient records should've been sent to their county facility for preservation. Unbelievable that they left all of it. Good find

I remember watching this channel back when I was a Freshman in High School. I’m 20 years old now and decided to come back and watch your content. I’m subscribed now :)
This is sad. All that medical supply and biological hazard.
Sure hope a tornado or flood doesn't hit the place.
This is so mind blowing. Cant believe how much stuff has been left and on the other hand it could have been used still ... what a waste
I'm still sick. m.t.lopez
Let's goooo I'm so excited to watch this you go to the most epic places your videos always make my day so much better keep up the good work
So awesome bro watched Dan's live and heard the boys are going on a adventure... Can't wait for that ✌️
I know I’m a bit late on this, but I just came across your channel.
That building is a huge biohazard! Be careful josh
So excited about your new video! I hope you can do a u.s meet up one day,it would be a dream to meet you! I cant wait for the uk content! ♡
Wow i love it.💯%
Amazing place to explore! Good find! Love your content.
I'm a Nurse in Australia and i love these videos especially when stuff is left behind. The wheelchair at the start of the video is for bariatric patients so overweight/obese which is why its so big :)
Thank you for explaining! I was wondering why it was so big
The t-shirt fits you very well!! Awesome merch!! ☺️👍
Was watching old videos while this was posted ❤️ Thank you Josh
Hi Josh, Steve, . I can't believe they left everything. Even donated blood, urine samples, syringes, and blood draws of HIV. The patient records should've been sent to their county facility for preservation. Unbelievable that they left all of it. Good find
Love you Josh! Been with your channel since the beginning😀😀🤗
