Great content, always targeting different species in different areas, cool to see all the mini / tropical fish that pop up in the traps keep those going
I cant believe you didn't get in on that crazy bass action this fall. please show people how to properly measure a fish with the ruler on a flat surface and not following the belly of the fish to gain a couple inches. cant wait to see new content for the new year!
I got on some of the northshore fall run from the kayak. Yes the tape can over-read the fish, I try to elevate the tape at the lip to keep the tape as straight as possible.. I’m not gunna carry a measuring board with me on foot or kayak
@@Bsprecksfishing good work, just trying to educate these TH-camrs who are over measuring their fish saying they're keepers when they're obviously not. especially the ones that measure "their way" with his hand claiming its a keeper on a obviously short fluke.
You're a man's man. A true conservationist. Catching and releasing those fish is commendable. And I've been led to believe that one can only catch fish on a hungry stomach.
I enjoyed all the weird fish you trapped and netted, I had no clue those fish existed around here. My best memory of this season was a night I had surf casting on the north shore. I hit the bass hard, I had fish from schoolie size up to the mid 30lb range for most of a tide. I bet I had 10 fish over 20lbs. Otherwise, this year was a snoooze fest for me, nothing to write home about.
The bluefish was amazing. Mother baked them, they were so good. I had a boss years ago who said he never kept them because they were too fishy. I couldn't help but wonder what he expected, it was, after all, a fish!

Haha yeah I release 99% of my fish, however that was the only keeper fluke I released this year. Thanks for watching!
Nice bluefish, they always give a good fight, gotta watch those choppers!
Thanks! The previous year I caught one a similar size, same time, same spot and it fought way harder
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching!
It's that time of year again 😂❤

That’s sounds like a night of fishing that would keep me happy all year! And northshore too!!
Thanks for watching!

If you bleed and ice them immediately they are decent fish to eat. Otherwise I find it pretty bad.
Yeah I like bluefish if they’re small and prepped right, bluefish makes great ceviche too! However this bluefish would’ve been horrible.
nice,,,,,>
