Little tip, smear a small amount of sikaflex adhesive around the nutset before installing it. Will seal up the tiny space that’s created and stop any rust forming down the road. Keep up the great content 👍
That's a good idea! Thanks!
Thanks for the upload, looks like a nice kit! Keep up the content brotha
I have a slide out drawer on my LJ.Wondering if my draw fits between the cables. What's the width between the cables and hardware on the tailgate?
The measurement between the fender wells is 36" so id estimate 33" between the cables. they are pretty low profile to the brackets.
When are you coming out west, would love to check out the build. Rubicon run?
no rubicon run this year. You can look at The Great American Crawls schedule this year, Ill be at some of those.
Is that sturdy enough to sit/stand on? Seems like that top edge would possibly bend.
We have had one of our guys sit on it and he is over 400 lbs
I dont see anything about a weight rating for this thing...Is there any info on how much it will hold?
Not sure the actual rating but I’ve ahead 300lbs on it with no issues
How much does it weigh compared to the stock tailgate?
I don’t have exact weights. The aluminum is ridiculously light. Like 5-6 pounds. If you take the stock off I’d guess it to be 25-30 easily
