Another idea: Add a skeleton near poop monster carrying a shovel and a bucket with an old timey hat and have him represent the poop collectors from before the days of plumbing. Maybe with a gem in the bucket? Finding valuables in poop was their main income.
@RobinHoodBricks I think people just dropped it while doing their business. I can't understand how really, but apparently a lot of valuables ended up in sewage.
Poop monster backstory idea: The rain poured down over brick nottingham as the mayor of brick derby snuck in, undercover for some world renown Crusty Crabb. But the chemicals in their stomach did not sit well with their delicious new burger, they rushed at full speed to the new underground toilets and released something despicable into the bowl, this blew the pipes and grew into an awful creature which gains in size every time a new individual rushes in to release their insides into a toilet. Awesome video by the way and I hope that more amazing brick Nottingham adventures are sure to come!!
I took that plumber van and turned it into a hazmat team vehicle. Changed with equipment and lots of hazmat team stickering. Think you are absolutely correct lego needs to make more high quality city sets and more variety too
That’s the perfect addition. I fear your getting to part where you have very little table left to build on. It’s time to start getting subterranean. Well done sir!
Maybe swap the spinning subway sign and the bathroom entrance door at the base of the subway stairs? Might make a little more sense in terms of access to the bathrooms and how it connects with the corridor between the two? Amazing and very funny build though regardless.
I'm so glad it finally made its way into the city. Nice how both the restrooms and the monster fits perfectly on that height. And the mirroring panel giving a longer corridor effect gives it a nice touch. Very nice work!
5 minute mark thought: He should mirror one of those... 9 minute mark thought: Told ya 11 minute mark thought: the man's a genius👏 About the only thing missing might be a sign at street level indicating the toilets downstairs. Great fun yet again.👍
Could we maybe have a vent over the top of Ol’ Poopy and some citizens trying to enjoy a beer above him smelling the stench through the vent? Love the underground builds!
That's a nice addition! Not sure if this would fit but you may transform the poop monster environment into a sewer scene with exploding pipes, which would feed it
Totally forgot about this amazing bathrooms! They are so well placed, look fantastic in place in the city. An idea for the story behind the poop monster is that the sea monsters, unhappy with their mistreat and the humans invasion into their sea, made a deal with the or to cause chaos above world, by leaking radioactive waste that 'accidently' caused a large of poop to evolve into a living being, and hence came about the pop monster. Can't believe I've just come up with a backstory for a poop monster, but hey, here I am.
Man, I loved the LEGO Movie line for that exact reason. Had the "fun" stuff for the kiddos, but for us collectors, you could use it as a normal set! The new Lego Dreamzzz sets (like the Turtle Van) are kind of taking on that same type, but not quite the same. I'm glad you finally installed these! Been waiting a long time to see how they turned out mounted in the city! As for the Poop Monster, maybe have a broken drain line on the wall on the left side and have it leaking out of the pipe and that caused him?
The turtle van is a bit too big and familiar looking I agree the LEGO Movie sets were great. Even the ones that weren't 2-in-1 you could piece together like Bob's Kabobs. More!
This poop monster is a real shredder (from TMNT) situation. Was he a regular old rock monster infected by poo, or a regular old poo that got transformed by toxic waste? A real conundrum 😂
For the Poo Monster, Fun Fact: Poo has your DNA in it. So the toxic waste or radioactive material may have mutated some poopy overflow in to the monster. But how did it get to that spot in first place. 🤔 we may need a scene for that. Also let’s hope none of that poo leaks on to the beach. 😏
The way you build is the way lego should be used, I love it all. Re: the brown base plate, could you not build your own random coloured one for the back bits and front those four rows of studs with brown plates?
Welp.... never thought I'd hear about a poop monster on this channel but now I can check that on the Bingo card. LOL!!!! I love this :D Perfect use of the underground space, GREAT scenes, and as always, with a bit of fun! Well done Robin!
You could swap the ticket machine and the toilet door. That would let the toilet goers go to the left and behind the ladies through the corridor to the toilets. The ticket machine would then be at the bottom of the stairs looking at the customers as they walk down.
That white flowers hack is great, never thought about using lever pieces like that. And for a backstory for your poop monster…have you ever seen the movie Dogma? Jay and Silent Bob facing exactly that…the $#!+ Golem of Golgatha

This thing need more suiting for Joe : perhaps some poop astronaut from CMF24 with some plumbing tool could fit in this scene … crushed by poop monster hand ? … is there no way to make this hand raised from the sewer ? It would be a nightmare with the baseplate.. I’m sorry but you started this 🤣 .. or could it break in men’s room ?
Brilliant use of existing space and your previous excellent designs. When watching we thought it would look better mirrored but who would really bother to do that? Robin Hood Bricks would! Really great. How very publicly convenient!
