I get bad welts as well.. it’s horrible. I do all that I can to keep mosquitos away, but it’s not easy.

Zote soap works because it has citronella in it. Irish spring does not work. However, if you have a mosquito bite you can rub it dry on your bite and it will help the itch. Dr. Sessler told me that. He has been a doctor for decades.

I meant sprinkle around the plants, after it rains or water, would the chemical of the soap hurt the plants?

The runoff didn’t hurt mine, but I’d try it on a small area first just to be sure your plants are ok.
