    This is so fun to watch him transform! Now that I've let go of the insomnia/anxiety struggle, I'm applying what I learned to health & nutrition too and I'm starting to have similar outcomes to Neil because once you learn to just Let It Be, you will find that things are just lighter and brighter. Really, these lessons apply to EVERYTHING that you struggle with in life.

    With all due respect to the other guests on the channel Daniel, but this guy is absolutely my favorite! He helped me so much during my worst panic/anxiety crisis of my life, last October when my therapist was on vacation, it was his story of insomnia in the middle of the Israeli army that calmed me down and made me never have these crises again in my life. Not by comparison, but by knowing how to accept that we cannot control everything and this lack of control will not kill us, on the contrary, it will set us free.
    I'm so glad this book is being written, I'm sure it will inspire and help people around the world.
    By the way, "Never There, Forever There" is a great title for the book. Haha I can't wait to have it in my hands, even if it takes another 20 years to write. 😂

    Hi there - i think I'm curious to know if there is ever truly FULLY through this. I watch these videos and often it feels like the life after insomnia guests have just accepted that while theyre much improved, fears about sleep will just randomly pop up from here on out. To me, that doesn't feel like true victory from this phobia. I never once feared any aspects of sleep before this happened. That would be my hope for truly coming out on the other side. Complete peace and recognition of safety. I think Alina on her channel speaks on this. That of course you will remember your struggle with insomnia but all fear is gone. Are there other stories like this? I dont want to "handle or managae" the fear thoughts for the rest of my days. I truly want freedom

      Such an insightful question Kaitlyn, and you’ve observed so much… I’d say it’s like anything that’s been really scary in our lives… we will always have some feelings about it. Like a child who were in a car accident may always be a bit afraid of driving… but that won’t keep them from living a completely free life!

    Wow this is so accurate about where I am at right now when he says “you’re thinking about something else but know that you’re only thinking about that to not think about sleep therefore you’re still thinking about sleep”
    What advice would you give someone when they try break out of it and temporarily do for a few seconds or minutes but then that thought reappears of “oh you solved it you’re no longer thinking of sleep and you let go” but that very thought proves you haven’t and you then re engage and back to square one.
    Is there some kind of neurological trap that you have embedded overtime which is out of your control or is that very thought itself the belief system and just a thought?
    It’s very tricky to navigate through..

    hi sir, im very happy by seeing that you are dong fantstic thinngs making people happy with your techniques.. for them life like a rebirth.. my life with insomnia 12 years...im now 32 years ..i lost everything in life including good career, i romed every nook and corner for my problem..but nothing help me out in long time . Even im not working for my bread..my health not supporting me. gradually deteriorating.......when i about go to bed for sleep the anxity will occupying over me
    keep on anxity , overthinking ,fear every single day..even im not sleeping 2 hours its like a hell on earth when we can not sleep..... sir
    im actually very hyper sensitive guy..i was born and brought in small south indian village... when i got chance to go metropolitan city, where i was not able to adjust, habituated, mingled with city environment by seeing that advanced busy life, congested, crowd every corner.
    from then onwards i went into depression, sleeplessness, anxity, fear, my mind programmed like that.. sir
    i want happy and peaceful.. lead a normal life sir..kindly help me out sir

      No, I haven't. Have you?
      I still have the fear like not the fear of not sleeping but for some reason I have bad indigestion the next day when I don't sleep at all. Idk if it's anxiety symptom or what. I'm trying to taper of the med atm. It's just that I have been pursuing an academically challenging degree and I gotta complete that in Jan and all of this has been making it even more challenging for me.
      But honestly my mindset has gotten better watching Daniel. Atleast better than before.

    I've posted comments all over Coach Daniel's videos, so I might as well continue that tradition here. I'm in the middle of my latest speed bump (been working through insomnia for 16 months now). Neil's words resonated with me about letting go and experiencing life regardless of sleep quality. I'm working my way towards that, but this last week has been a roller coaster. It started with a sleepless night out of nowhere last Wednesday night (first one in months), followed by a good night (8 hours). Then we visited my dad for his 80th b'day and spent the night on Friday. I didn't sleep a wink again. Functioned fine at his birthday celebration at his favorite restaurant with 40+ guests. That made me feel pretty confident that I could overcome sleepless nights. On Saturday, I fell asleep in the recliner around 9-9:30 p.m., woke around 2 a.m. and headed to bed. Slept until nearly 7:30. Of course, I felt energized yesterday, but I was back to another sleepless night last night.
    And last night was a strange one: I felt like I was having hundreds of dreams, but I felt fully awake. In fact, I'd wake up and notice time barely moved after each dream or two. I call them micro-sleeps: not refreshing at all and in a state of unconscious consciousness. It's weird. I don't know if others have experienced them. And a lot of those "awake dreams" were focused on me not sleeping or me trying to sleep. Really odd. I couldn't get out of the loop no matter how calm I tried to be.
    I'm worried I'll be stuck in this rollercoaster for a while (sleepless night/good night/sleepless night/good night). Do I just continue going about my day regardless of sleep, and things eventually level out?

    Hi dan ,, i usually do great after the knowledge from u,, i watch tv and go to bed when sleepy,,but last nite I couldn’t sleep cause of power outage,, and had no tv to watch just layed down and watched the stars in sky and went to bed when I started yawning,, but in bed just had hyper sleep whole nite,, is dis normal?? I know its not a big problem cause powers back on today lol,,, just curious

      I think anything that’s a little unusual can make us have a sleepless night, that’s sooo normal! And when we think “of course I don’t sleep” then we won’t problem solve or ponder, and then there’s no struggle!

    Hi,
    I have been struggling the past 3 weeks or no. I believe I developed a fear of sleeping and it’s effecting me on the daily. I don’t know why I am letting me effect me this bad. I have had anxiety my entire life. Do you think anxiety medications would help me overcome this?
