    I have the LevTac - 92 chambered and the 454 Casull and want to state clearly that the 454 Casull chambering will not work with the 45 Long Colt.

    • @pyrate_nz
      @pyrate_nz  ปีที่แล้ว

      @DLC 308 can you please explain further. 45c is the parent case of 454. Is it something to do with cycling?

    • @F15ElectricEagle
      @F15ElectricEagle ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pyrate_nz - I need to clarify my first comment. The 45 LC can be shot from the 454. However, it will not cycle/feed correctly. The 45 LC cartridge will not completely come out of the mag tube and enter fully onto the feed ramp when the lever is pulled. I believe the overall cartridge length of the round is more critical in functioning of the rifle when it is in the 45 caliber chambering. My brother has the LevTac - 92 in 44 Magnum and he doesn't have this problem when shooting 44 Special from it.

      I find 100m is no problem shooting a 66% IPSC, slow fire. If you want to shoot steel at speed 25 (or 50 for a challenge). It really depends on you eyes and your confidence/abillity. I would not hesitate to shoot a red deer at 100m with it, but thats me. im sure some people would push it further and some would want to be closer. The other consideration is knowing your ammo and bullet selection. Im currently loading the 240gr hornady XTP 44mag which is devastating on game.
