@@larryboy1975 samples come from audio via usb! This is the easiest way I found at the moment. Sorry, it was unclear in the video! I could not make my computer find the internal storage yet! (Only for updating the firmware)
@@robertjamesonmusic I believe it does automatically when recording live. I did program the drums though. For example: I nudged the snares a bit to the right to give a bit of lazy feel. But yeah, tbh it could have been more groovy! I will try again with another track by turning quantization off and playing the beats all live.
@@PsychologyAcademia that’s good to know! I will keep an eye on mine to see if it behaves weirdly. Thanks! A big issue with my OP-Z was the double triggering keys. But at the same time, the built quality on that thingy was far from the one on the OP-XY.
@ Dont get me wrong its a nice bit of kit. Im not bothered too much about the quality of the synth engines. Its the companies quality control that concerns me most😏
@@zanza_the_rewolverine thanks for the feedback! I totally agree. But honesty, I value quick and efficient workflows. If I have a nice track to work with after 10 min just playing around with a machine, some features become less important to me.
@@zanza_the_rewolverine Unless this is a feature on the OP-1 Field, then it would make sense for the company to keep features split and make more money! 😵
@@PsychologyAcademia Thanks for the feedback! I manually nudged some trigs and added grove but you’re absolutely right. I was not aware whether the OP-XY was quantizing everything. Well, pls subscribe to the channel, there is definitely more cool stuff this to come. Don’t tell anybody, but the SP404 does this job much better 😅
oowww!!!!
THANK YOU!
Sampled the from the usb cable... from your library? Was it captured over USB audio or transfered as a file?

The op xy quantizes? Or no?

I wont mention the forthcoming product recall just announced either due to 1 in 4 having a dodgy pitch shift.

You wanted another. Try unquantization your beats. Makes for better hip hop.
