Not only Leyand, all BS6 engine are big failure... they are not ready for BS6... no proper testing and R&D... so currently owner suffering all headache to collect testing data for vehicle manufacturer 😢
See, the problem is nowadays all companies with bs 6 have more sensors for everything. AL bs2 bs3 bs4 has less, and can be repaired easily. If the knowledge about the sensors, ones the local mechanic is clear, bs6 is also easy to maintain. But it takes time to learn every thing
Ksrtc orders busses in bulk .they have their own mechanics who are trained by bus companies. The tenders also force bus companies to stock key spare parts and penalise them in case of non availability. Small private bus operators don’t have all resources
@ it’s not only about resources it’s about intent. KSRTC is top in India because of the intent to provide quality service to public which makes them to take all the necessary steps maintain the fleet else there are many RTC orders same busses in bulk and shows no intent to maintain the fleet

Its not like only they are the one using leyland For example take ksrtc even tough it has so many bs6 buses, they never found any fault I always travel in ksrtc bs6 and till date i never faced any issue like this and i personally even spoke with the depot manager about the new bus review he said that most of the things are better than bs4 like nice pickup etc and even have major problems like bus mileage is less compared to bs4 When these large operators are using so many buses then why there is no problems or issues faced by them?
