Good video Tom...very clever way of cleaning. I can't get over the amount of trash you got out of it in the back of the combine. Careful on sharing too much or everyone will be growing it! 😆
Spread on winter wheat for a cover crop, disced it with a cultipacker behind. If you go back we have it in a video about 6 weeks ago. Thanks for watching.
Hello everyone Tom great vidéo And Hello from Alsace in France
Did you say the deer don't destroy it, that sounds like a plus. Thanks for the show!!
Correct, they would have destroyed the soybeans in that field, hardly touched the sorghum.
Why wasnt combine able to clean it up better when you harvested it
It was over 20% moisture so it didn’t thrash easily. Hopefully this year we’ll plant it a month earlier.
I just had a debate with 1 of my PA farmers about this exact thing. I'll have to forward your video to him 😀
What was the debate? We grow 97 day corn usually, this year we need to get it planted in May.

What is Milo used for ?
Itching powder 😊
40-50 years ago we raised it on the iffy ground and used it for hog feed. Now it’s used for bird feed.
Ours is going for bird seed.

Trust me I’m thinking I should be saying we’re losing money at it, grow buckwheat instead!
