Good morning Tom...glad you brought back this series of videos! Do you know where your old 7700 sits?...I believe I do. I have such a fondness for the 9670...perfect machine upgrade for a smaller farmer looking to goto next class.
I don’t know where our 7700 ended up. We had painted it and it had bigger numbers on the decal. I don’t even know where my pictures of it are. We love the 9670, it was a great upgrade. As always thanks for watching and the comments!
We have an old mcormick deering pull type combine that my grandpa bought about 15 years ago then parked it in the chicken brolier house and a storm came and took the roof off and it all landed on the combine and destroyed it but my favorite model combine is either an X9, 2388 or an 8820 turbo
That’s to bad. We loved our 8820, would have kept it if we had room to store it inside.

No, that was at our home farm summer of 2023 in Caledonia. Our neighbor was leading with his 9650, he’s in his mid 80s.
The first big combine we bought had a 27’ head on it. Since we have run 30’ and 35’ heads, but I always thought that 27 was the sweet spot in our rough country we try to farm.

Running a 7720 titan 2 now. Dad had a 7720 that burnt then he got a 9610 (was my favorite). It got repossessed in 2014. I started in 2017 had a Massey 8590 (which is actually a white 9720 with Massey badging) when it ran it did a great job but it didn’t like the hills around here. I think I broke a belt every single day. The rotor locked up on it in 2020 that’s when I bought the titan 2. The guy I bought it from had recently pulled the engine and did the rear main seal and put new rasp bars and several new bearings throughout the combine. It’s been good for me.
i have owned a mf 750,mf860 and 2 6620sh then went to a 9500sh to a jd 9760sts sh and now run a s670sh also was tricked into a cat lexion that just sits in the shed,my all time favorit is the 9760sts it was just bullit proof great combine.
Sorry about the Lexion, never much good with those. The 60 and 70 series STS were built to last. Thanks for sharing!

We love our old equipment Jason and can’t afford new stuff. It pays to take care of the things that make you money, animals, soil, help and equipment!
