    Lindsey is an incredible woman who has had to overcome a lot of trials in her life. One of her other pieces done with another artist is called “Shatter Me” and is about her journey with a mental illness. It is truly beautiful and should be shared! Thank you for your research as well. I’m very familiar with the Japanese research into crystal formation and the influence of sound - it is fascinating.

    It's great that you have introduced the team to Lindsey Stirling. It's true what Abdul said: "With passion, everything becomes achievable". Lindsey has worked so hard and has battled through so many difficulties to achieve the global success she has now. She's so talented and inspirational to so many people. She has been one of my favourite artists and performers for years. Her music is so beautiful. Look forward to seeing your next video.

    Lindsay is AMAZING. I watched a documentary of how she trained for this video, it took her months of practice to deal with the excruciating pain of being held up by her hair, and to train the muscles in her head, neck, and shoulders for the movements. She'd go home after rehearsal in agony and tears, but she was determined to see the project through. Her videos give me goosebumps!

    • @dominika3762
      @dominika3762 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It may look interesting but it is the dumbest thing she ever did. It would look as beautiful with a harness. Pain for pains sake is unhealthy

    • @theodoremichotte8364
      @theodoremichotte8364 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dominika3762 We all do things that are unhealthy or plain stupid. I'll take an extreme one, simply having a ceremony to bury someone. The person is dead, so it's just for the family to have a place with a tombstone. Other religions had bodies rot on towers so that birds of prey would come and eat them. If this is her way to honor the lost ones, let it be hers.

    • @noahboucher125
      @noahboucher125 ปีที่แล้ว

      Those are muscles that most people would never dream of working. And to train like that for months? I'm not a psycho analyst, but you are either punishing yourself or finding some sort of clarity in the pain at that point.

    Along with setting up her charity to help people with medical bills and experiencing losing loved ones to cancer, Lindsey strives to uplift others through her own personal story and music.
    Her albums tell stories or an overall theme.
    Her song and album Shatter Me (the lyrics are sung by Lzzy Hale) is about breaking free from the negative things that keep us down. For her personally, this was her experience with anorexia and depression when she was in her 20s and in college.
    The theme for her Brave Enough album overall talks about grief and dealing with that.
    Her Artemis album, made after these, tell a specific story about finding light again in your life during hard times.
    Lost Girls is the sequel to the Shatter Me song which is all about recovery and fighting back the urge to relapse or go back to the toxic, harmful things that ironically made us safe.
    Song of the Caged Bird is about making the most of your situation.
    Take Flight is about finding hope.
    Foreverglow is about how like the stars that may have burned out light years away but we still see what's left of them, we will leave some kind of impact.
    Gavi's song is the song her and her best friend (the same one she lost) were writing together before he passed.
    Guardian is based on her belief in guardian angels.
    Love Goes On and On (Amy Lee is the featured singer) is about how the ones we love are still with us.
    Lose You Now (Mako is another singer featured) is about finding healing and holding onto the memories of our loved ones who passed and this song was released in 2021 with the pandemic happening.
    And her newest song Magic (performed with David Archuleta) is about finding gratitude and joy during hard times.
    It seems like a long list already but her music is full of positive messages and Lindsey strives to inspire people to live out their dreams and believe in themselves. She's done that for me a few times and I never realized what I was capable of if someone didn't connect with us in such a way.

    Hey, Lindsay Stirling is from my state in the USA! I live in Utah. I actually saw her play a show live in a little music venue called Velour Live Music Gallery. The man who owns the venue is very good with helping musicians grow their bands, and has worked with Neon Trees and Imagine Dragons. Very cool to see the gentlemen react to an artist from my area, truly it’s a small world!

    She doesn't do wire work anymore, but she still dances while playing, and live performances can be found. I'd suggest the official video for Shadow, though, just because it's my favorite, shot in black & white, dancing with her own shadow on the wall as she plays.

      @@Robertahausen Well they can do 2 things to prevent video from being blocked., Firstly make a disclaimer that it is for entertainment and educational purposes. and Secondly IF IT gets copyrighted just write a letter to Lindsey or Pentatonix , because they love people reacting to them and they wholeheartedly support that.. And well also guide people to channels of those who created video's you are reacting. That should prevent 90-95 percent of cases of content being blocked.
      After all reactions are actually exempt from copyrights by the law.

    I have seen Lindsey perform live. It was before she learned the aerial skills that you see in this video, but when she first started trying to make it big as a performer her gimmick was that she would play the violin while dancing. She absolutely did do the acrobatics while playing the violin at the same time, she's just that good and dedicated to what she does.
    If you are going to view some of her other videos, I recommend choosing from the following list:
    Shatter Me featuring Lzzy Hale
    Carol of the Bells
    Stampede featuring Alexander Jean
    Lindsey Stirling + Pentatonix - Radioactive
    Elements
    On The Floor
    She's amazing, and I love pretty much all of what she makes, but the above music videos show her skills at dancing while playing the best, and the songs that feature other artists are a great choice, considering that I remember you doing a reaction video on Pentatonix, and they're great together.

Muharam always makes me smile but also nice to see him cause Adnan to crack up. :) Given this performance was all about the emotion (helped by the 'cry' of the violin) and the visuals...no issues of translating lyrics....seemed as though the guys were completely mesmerized by what they were seeing. You've previously shared Pentatonix with your participants. Lindsey teamed up with them for 'Radioactive' ...really strong performance by all! And 'Papaoutai' is also fun.

    I haven't listened to Lindsey's songs much in a while but this video reminded me how much I like her music. Gonna go re-watch some of her music videos. Even in the oldest ones she has some slick dance moves. May I suggest her song The Arena? She wrote it while struggling with anorexia and an inferiority complex. It's about following your passions and refusing to give in to people who just want to tear you down. The Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic setting is just a good excuse to dress up, i think, which is Lindsey's third passion (after playing violin and dancing).

    it would be nice that they could watch the video as it's supposed to be as it is for a non-profit show... sad as they can't really see everything..

      They included a link to the original video on Lindsey's channel in the description under "For the original video please click here:" I do believe that is the version they saw. What we're seeing needs to be this way for us due to copyright, so TH-cam doesn't take down the video.

    It's a shame I couldn't visualize it without the eyebals and line for the mouth. Very distracted.

    I'ma be honest- I'm sure she's a lovely person, and on paper I'm glad for anyone pursuing their passion. She drives me nuts. I sincerely loathe classical stringed instruments meets obnoxious modern wub wub. Not knocking either genre (called it obnoxious for brevity)- but mixing the two for me just comes across as very fringe, experimental, amateurish, and not groundbreaking, new, fresh.
    Sorry, don't @ me. I'm just giving my perspective, it's perfectly fine for *you* to love it. Just not my thing.

      same lol, also this "performance" just feels like a gimmick/PR stunt thing and not something authentic that she wants to do for the inherent joy of doing the aerial stuff... she even says she started dancing to stand out from the rest so it is just a strategy and not inherent joy/passion for the act itself but for fame/success/money/PR.... i hate watching fake/inauthentic people/acts

      I do like said genre when it is done well, but unfortunately the bulk of it is like you said.... Especially because they are usually quite behind with the "contemporary" music they try to incorporate. Her music feels a bit insipid to me, so I've never been a fan, but this video did make me appreciate her hard work. I think I would consider her more of a performer than a musician. But yeah, it's great that with the internet everyone can follow their passions these days!
      One such artist I am a fan of is Sudan Archives. Her song/video Glorious is pretty good imo
