being a shy girl always disappointed me kasi hindi ko masabi na gusto ko o di lang talaga nila ako pinapakinggan kasi bata pa ako nun my cousin is 5yrs old pero nag aaral na sya ng ballet I'm so thankful na sobrang bait at caring ng parents nya. 😊

Aww! I miss learning there! I used to go to Halili Cruz when I was in Pre school, studied for 3 years but stopped due to us moving here in Isabela. But I still have my love for dancing.
Sobrang gusto Kong mag aral s ballet school pero mahal po 😢 sana meron scholarship or khit discount na offer malaking bagay nayun para din s mga studyante pa na nais ding matuto sa ballet s ganung case kahit pa zero knowledge s ballet😢 ..yung Alam ko na way para maka avail ng scholarship needed na mag audition so kelangan siguro flexible na 😢
Alam mo ako ren gustong gusto ko talagang mag aral ng ballet kaso d ako na expose lalo na at walang budget for that nakaka sad lang dahil d na bibigyang pansin ng pamahalaan ng pilipinas ung mga gantong bagay
pangarap ko din mag ballet ever since bata . Naalala ko nung bata ako nag papabili ako ng pointe pero since napaka rare noon flat shoes nalang atleast mukhang parang pointe . Instead of ballet na expose ako sa hip hop tapos na hinto then 16 years old sumayaw ako ulit for 4 years tas ngayon nahinto nanamn ng 4 years . ngayon ko lang na isipan mag itry ang ballet kaso wala masyadong school dito lahat nasa manila . 🙂
Gsutong gusto ako i-enroll ng mama ko sa ballet class when I was still a kid kso I kept saying no coz I dn't wanna wear a tutu. Kainis ngaun nrregret ko na na sna sumali ako edi sna flexible ako ngaun at hnd sumasakt ang ktwan. Huhu. 😭🥺
i really love ballet pero di po sapat yung money para makapagenroll po ako sa halili cruz as in sobrang gustong gusto ko po talaga, may any chance po kaya na makapag ballet ako with scholarship or kahit ano po please :

I am one to own my own and my own people's short comings if need be. I was a ballet dancer myself. I have performed in many places and had the rare opportunity to take master's class in Tap Dance With Bill T. Jones & Company.
I am aware of my genetics and how different we are from the caucasians and other Asians. Not that there is anything wrong with it. We are just made different. I grew up being skinny 90 pounds 5'4" and very active during my younger years. It worked to my advantage being a ballet/jazz/Tap/Ball Room dancer, and an athlete. Of course, I am double the size, now that I am much older.
Being Filipino, I am also very privy of our culture, and know how our Filipino parents care for their children. They feed us well, because wika nga: Health is Wealth.
Body shaming is not my practice. On the contrary, I give pep talks to younger people who feel like they are being bullied or shamed or just simply feeling insecure or inadequate by any means.
If you body shame, count me out. I do not belong in your world.
FYI: Ballet dancing is still not considered main stream in the Phils. Some children from the affluent families do it, but not necessarily to become a Prima Ballerina. To many of them, it is just a way of life. To learn, to grow, to be pre-occuppied, but not necessarily to make a career out of it. Unlike in Russia, USA, and the likes.... these students do it with purpose and with real commitment. Many of them do it with their own sweat and blood for the love of art and self expression. Meaning, their family is not paying a dime towards it. Ballet dancing is a career here and its cut throat competition has no room for the weakling and the over sheltered children / young adults. Being very slim is one of the necessary elements to be edgy and competitive. So naturally, when I watch their videos, they all look so elegantly slim, yet muscularly well defined, strong and healthy graceful athlete dancers. Then all of a sudden when I tuned in to this video, it seemed such a pull back to reality. To where I came from. Of course, it was a nice feeling. Take note, these Pinoy Kids are far from being pro dancers. If this was CCP Ensemble, or Halili dancers or Lisa Macuja Pro dancers, or the Bayanihan dancers, or our OFW ballet dancers in Hong Kong Disney .... they all look appropriately fit as a pro dancer. Because it is a job or a career. There are certain requirements and standards to be met.
I assume you appreciate ballet and many things nice and beautiful, and graceful. One must cultivate and allow beauty to grow from within an flow naturally.
