In this video I check out the Fishersville Virginia Antiques Expo. This was the Spring 2023 show. I set up and sold but also shopped for items to resell online.

Yes. We have 2 units in Va. One is primarily my inventory and the other is our furniture and collections. This fall we are planning on getting rid of some stuff and combining them into one.
I also often get a small unit (10 by 5) where we are staying on the road. It allows me to thin out the stuff in my van so I can find specific items easier and faster. My goal is to not hold onto stuff for too long. Of course not everything will sell right away but it helps if I can buy the stuff cheap enough to just flip to another dealer.

OK…so here is a question….to make money…you have to be able to buy….then sell…buying is the key…..why not live in New England….or South Eastern PA….where there are auctions….every day…..at all price points……do the auctions….for very little expense….then have a lights out website to sell…..also do shows and Brimfield….etc…you have access to more nice things to buy…..you cut expenses…..and you have more time available….?

It's not the show friend. It is the economy. The fiat system is in the process of being replaced. All will crash soon.. I closed during the 2008 crises and have closed till 2024. Best of luck to you.
