I'll be shocked if this channel doesn't blow up when you start showing videos of you and your family sailing on your boat... You do a great job, the energy you put out is infectious... And we all know Mary is a freaking rock star of a wife and mother, allowing you to chase your dreams. It will be nice to see her have her chance to be out there on the water... explore Panama meet a few sloths... Just my opinion, but I think you both have the perfect personalities for youtube... I'd never get comfortable in front of the camera... lol

i like these segments that you are filling in. Most channels simply show Blue Water, sail boards, beahes, (vacation type stuff). Little things like how to set up a shift watch (or watch shift lol) are vital to the safety of the vessel and crew. Cheers for now Ttfn

Hey Dave. Great videos mate. One thing I will say that Erks me a little, is if the skipper say red lights only at night to keep your night vision sharp, you should respect that. I know it wouldn’t make for great video, but you will never know how important it is until it is to late.

If colin ever wanted a permanent night crew I would do it. I can't sleep at night anyway.
This is the wind pushing. Change your course so both sails are on the same side. This will give more speed. Sailing speed and not pushing speed. Pushing is totally not using benefits of the wing shape advantage. Going 15 degree off course is easily compensated with higher speed.
