My God Mike, you are my "Pressure Wash Hero" sir. You summed up countless youtube trial and error hours with this 6 minutes video. No one I KNOW is welling to share as much raw information as possible and for that I am grateful
You just made my day/ year! I just started surface cleaning out of my pickup. I have a 4gpm pressure washer and I’m tired of lifting it in and out of my truck 😅. Time to invest and save in the long run. Thanks for this video clean and simple and straight to the point! Clean on my friend.
Great idea on running the bypass back to the tank. I don’t have a trailer or tank yet so I have to be super conscious of when I don’t have the wand or surface cleaner letting water out. It’s a pain in the butt.
Really informative video brother 👍I am considering starting a side business for pressure washing and love watching your videos. I knew absolutely nothing about setups until watching all the videos.
Awesome stuff Mike, you da man! I did notice upon pausing that your in-line filter for your machine feed has the flow direction arrow backward 🤣 but I don't think that's crucial, and much bigger fish to fry like making money, could be the camera flipping it? You guys are killing the marketing and content THANKS !!!!
Really enjoyed the video…could you do a video on your electrical end? How you wired up the soft wash system? What type of battery, charger, switches etc
Hi do you have a video on how to build a soft wash wand? I have seen some but their vague on the part sizes needed. I've had to guess at some resulting in numerous trips to the store for exchanges and still don't have them right. Particularly the quick connect for the ends and wand connect thanks love this video of yours
I'm currently buying everything I need yo start a soft wash company. I wamt to primarily do roofs and soft wash houses. Any tips would be much appreciated. Also what 12v pump do you recommend
@@AllAboutPressureWashing yeah, venting the tanks. I'm thinking that in a closed system that as water is coming in the internal pressure would build until it equalizes with city pressure not getting a full tank. and with SH as your pulling there would be no air getting in to displace the used SH and the pump would be trying to implode the tank. so as I plan my plumbing I am curious as to how to keep out critters and if anything grows in SH that's left stagnant. I saw you had your tanks open which is your vent but with the rain I get here I can not do that and need some vent /overflow. I'm thinking that I could run a hose and stuff it with SS dish scrubbing pads to keep out critters.
Killer video - thanks for making it. @2:35 is that an in-line pump to boost fresh water to your unit, or is that just a filter housing? Slowed down the video a couple times, can’t quite make it out. Thanks again!
Hey Mike, enjoy your content... Question... what do you think about the rig that fresh rinse is putting out? Have you seen his channel?.... His product?Cheap shot... Just curious if you have seen his video on that? In what your opinion is. Thank you in advance. Scott
Do you leave the water running, while working , since you have the Hudson Float Valve in your tank? Nevermind just heard you thoroughly explain that you do at 3 mins in. Great info.
+Jorge De La Cruz It’s very easy, there is a bypass port on your unloader, it is marked as such. All you need to do is remove the plug that comes with the unloader, replace it with a brass hose barb and connectors your poly braided hose with a clamp to the farm and put the other end inside of your water tank. It would be better if you used a bulkhead fitting, but it is not necessary.
First I’d like to say thank you for showing how things flow in the pressure/soft was system. Next is do you recommend certain type of fittings to connect to pressure washer and soft wash system? I was thinking of coming from a 3/4 to a garden hose and connecting to pressure washer. Or are there other fittings to accomplish same task?
Thanks for all the help that you give.! But I also wanted to ask if I can put a bypass to the 4400 psi simpson ? Cause the unloader is different than what you have with your machines. I know mine is cheap but I am still in the process of growing my business. Thanks again!
I've been washing farm equipment for a few years. I now want to expand to houses and more. My question is would a 40psi pump be sufficient for soft wash.
Hello I love your videos I’ve watched every single one and then some have read your blogs very informational I’m just starting out this year I have pressure washed for a company for a couple years just fell into the opportunity down here in Central Florida again I have learned a lot I did have a question wasn’t sure the best way to reach you. It was regarding the ends you drop in each tank for your soft wash system could you make a video on how to make those or update on your parts list where to buy them I can’t find any video anywhere on how to build one or where to buy one love the way you have it set up I have mine set up similiar Thank you and God bless
There is absolutely nothing special about it. It is just the hose going through a piece of PVC pipe. You can put a three-way PVC T fitting on the end so the hose does not come out of the pipe.
@@AllAboutPressureWashing thank you-I have a general pump reel, so I didn’t know if that type would hold up to bleach or if it needed to be a specific type of reel. And thank you for all of the time you put into your videos. They are very informative and have helped me a great deal
I guess I should have been a little more specific with my answer. Not all hose reels are created equally and there are differences in quality based on price. Hose reels that are Made of steel and then painted or powder coated are not going to last as long as those that are made with aluminum or stainless steel.
Does your soft wash system not plumb into your pressure washing system? Or how does the soft wash system work? Also thanks for this video it really help me understand how to set up a pressure washing system.
That’s a great question, I would have told you the Everflow pump two days ago, but there are some things that have come to light that have possibly altered my response. I will let you know.
Hey mike quick question I’m not running a hot water pressure washer could I still connect my downstream injector to my hose reel I just like the idea of it being away from the machine
What size reinforced/braided hosing do you use for your sh and water lines that run from your tanks to your metering valve and also the one that flows from the pump to the reel.....thanks in advance had to watch this vid again
