    Good job but I have to ask why didn't you put the concrete preformed foundations in each corner instead of having the lumber sticking over by a foot or more at each end? Surely it would be much stronger if the six concrete bases had one at each corner and two in the middle of the longest sides.

      I had no particular reason for doing that. So far, the shed is still quite level but having the blocks closer to the corners would have made a stronger base.

    Hi Michael. Are you still interested in astronomy? I'm new to it and I came across your New Astronomer videos. They're really good and I found the finder scope calibration video really helpful. I noticed you haven't posted anything in a couple of years. Has your interest waned?

      Thanks for posting. I have many interests, have a full time job, and go to school part time so it's a matter of prioritizing my time. Astronomy has not been at the top of that list. But I still plan to make astronomy videos this year.

      It has been very durable. It's still up today.

    It would be much more helpful if you spoke during the video. Things you liked things you didn't like. How you modified it.

    Looks good. Figured materials at about the same as a plastic shed but, 10x sturdier.

    • @MichaelBernardo
      @MichaelBernardo  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you and yes, you are right about the cost and sturdiness. At first I thought it was going to be flimsy but it got sturdier and heavier as the build progressed.

    Hello! Would you mind sharing roughly the cost in this DIY shed?

    • @MichaelBernardo
      @MichaelBernardo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it was close to CAD$800. It could have been cheaper if it wasn't for the sled and finishing materials I selected.
