Truly a shame this does not have 2 million views or more. The story is awesome AND obviously passion for Trek put into this project. I been a fan almost 50 yrs now. I know good Trek when I see it. Well done. Thank you
BEST Spock approximation ever in any mainstream spin-off or fan product! Your casting director did amazing job finding someone with physiognomy so similar to Nimoy. --- OR --- is that Nimoy's son?? Should I check the credits before I hit send? Aw, damn the torpedoes!!
Nice seeing Capt. Ransom again & seeing what he could have done when not beeing stoped by the Voyager (this I asked my self) ... for the resurces available , it is very nice ...
Great story idea! Interesting what kind of mess stopping the Voyager from going into the Badlands might cause. And bonus points for M'Ress 😍 One grievance I have however is Picard in his First Contact uniform on board the Enterprise D. Shouldn't he still have TNG or at most VOY uniforms depending on the closeness to the events of Generations? 🤔
Good story , good concept . Good world building and better-than-most Green Screening . Surprisingly decent costuming . I was late to the Watch Party over to Mac's World Entertainment this evening. Having got caught up in the story last week, I had to come and watch what I missed. Great job all around! 🖖🖖
I really don't know why but all of these fan based shows have only recently shown up on my searches and I have been entering 'Star Trek' quite often with hardly any result. Could this be a fault or deliberate plot by YT to keep the views down? I cannot believe that these shows have not gone viral with millions of views.
Wow great episode!! So what happens with the officer from the future Rudy ransom looking forward to the next episode. Like to see that guy play a lot more he’s really good acting skills I know him from somewhere I just can’t process it anyway thanks a lot it was a great Episode
Wow you guys got John Savage I hope that you finish that episode where he comes from the future I mean even the data guide is excellent Spock is really genuine everybody’s just great please continue Big shout out to the music people are really doing a great job with the sound effects
Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! As super as I knew it would be, great job all, so glad to see John Savage, would have loved to see all the footage we fans didn't see but for in the trailers they shared during there crowd funding. Is there a chance you might release or give a private viewing of the footage they hadn't shared if available? I've been a John Savage fan almost as long as a Star Trek Fan, The Deer Hunter 1978 - Twin Peaks 2017, thank you all for super performances and behind the camera's, thumbs up all
Sadly Rick, we scoured every source we had to uncover all remaining footage and what is seen here in The Equinox Effect is all there is. If any existing footage is out there and turns up, I'm sure we will look at it. Thanks for watching and supporting us.
A lot of fun to watch. I really enjoyed it and appreciated the effort that went into it, just one question though. Why was Picard doing a bad Sean Connery impression? 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for watching. These are labors of love and we make them primarily for ourselves and share them with the hopes everyone else will love them as well.
Thank you so much for making this. 1000 times better than Alex Kurtzman's ST:D! Excellent story! Could you please tell me: how did you guys overcome Alex Kurtzman's "15 minute ban" (limit) on Star Trek Fan Films?
okay so I know Equinox happens in 2375,at the same time the Enterprise E is dealing with the Sona while the Dominion war is happening. the other two episodes I don't know when they take place,City on the Edge of Forever and Where no man has gone Before. I'm going to guess that this fan film starts in 2371. and as far as I'm aware the Borg weren't suppose to be encountered until 2365.
As with many time travel episodes, the butterfly effect of altering the past corrupts the time line, thus variations in history occur, which is the point of this film. Carson trying to save her sister , a seemingly small alteration, caused not only the future to change, but even rippled backward in time to effect the past as well.
I do not think the focus was on imitating the accent as much as that person was trying to imitate Captain Picard... I am from the US and I hardly heard a British accent at all... what I was noticing was that person imitating Patrick Stewart.. (and not very well either).. But to answer your question.. no... it is not..
For us as filmmakers and wanting to be true to the original series, our main concern is not to veer too far away from the original feel and canon of the episode, "City on the Edge of Forever" never making it more or less than what it is.
@@onetake7 For my own writing projects, and my future universe, I've always thought that time travel should be a rare, probably accidental happening. If it becomes too accessible, the chance to abuse it would be hard to resist.(and the readers/audiences are likely to ask WHY it wasn't used to correct some cataclysmic event.)
My only complaint besides semi stale acting, which is really to be expected from these sorts of fan films, is that you mention the temporal time directive, which didn't exist until after kirk's original series era. Hence why their antics in time travel never end up referencing it.
That was really cool, I like seeing all the different characters together. Just out of curiosity, are y'all located near OKC? I'm only asking b/c I used to be friends with the guys who bought the original ST set. They had purchased it and then went on to restore it so that they could use it for fan films and your set looked like the one they restored.
Those sets were rescued when the guys at OKC were evicted from the warehouse where the sets were stored and we're unable to secure a permanent home for them so we acquired them and have been making TOS fan films since. They are now located permanently in Arkansas.
Oh that's right, I'd completely forgotten about that. Thank goodness that y'all were there and were able to save those sets, I know how hard they all worked on them. Anyway, as I said I enjoyed your film and will have to check out a few more. :)

One of the more difficult things to do I agree but these fledgling actors put their best efforts forward. We appreciate these efforts and their extreme dedication to this project.
I think the actors did very well for not being pros. That M’Ress outfit is FREAKING AWESOME!!! 😂🤩🤓
I do love how janeway is talking to Picard from voyager with the Enterprise D decor behind her and Picard is obviously in janeway's ready room
Holy -- the woman playing Captain Janeway? Her voice is so character accurate!!
Hmm. Not quite Kate Mulgrew. Her voice has a purr in it. But this actress is close.

Feels like a musical in some points. The imitation of Picar is actually super hilarious! Is that how Americans imitate the British accent?

Minor gripe... but they say the Enterprise hasn't been targetted, but we see a beam on the ship...
Was that female lion the wife of the cowardly lion?
Thanks 😊

Where is this shelved footage. Is that footage here on your video. Can we see this raw footage. Where is it? I never knew this was a proposed pilot.

great story line and understandable effects given the budget, but you could have done MUCH better with Janeway's wig lol
Aaaahhh yes. If we just had an unlimited budget. Thanks for watching.
But she nailed the voice 👍👍
Her wig was so hilarious it deserves it's own meme. Her Janeway voice was very good though!
so I guess by circa 2371 the Enterprise D still lives (despite it's destruction in Generations in 2370).
Actually Generations does take place in 2371
The solution for this episode & the original S.T. music playing in a S.T.N.G. time frame is making my temporal temporal lobe ache a bit..
