Can we take a moment to appreciate the selling of PAC? The selling of the DDT outside the ring was superb, as well as the in ring DDT and the orange punch...phenomenal

PAC gains absolutely nothing from being beaten by a 3 year old stale joke gimmick for a title in fact he actually loses credibility and reputation points for getting beat by OC. OC doesn't elevate anyone that he has matches with whether he wins or loses. Because having a match with Orange Cassidy is not a notch on anyone's belt it's embarrassing especially if you lose to him. But if u do beat OC you also don't get any points because most wrestlers in aew are fully expected to beat him flat in 5 mins or less

I am so fortunate and happy that I was at this show tonight because it was popping from beginning to end and since it was the first show not only Toronto but all of Canada, I knew the crowd wasn’t gonna stop. When the show went off air, best friends, Danhausin and Kris Statlander all came to the ring to celebrate with Orange and Kris brought a backpack to put the title in because Orange said he “doesn’t like carrying things”. A big congrats to Orange on a well overdue but so well deserved title win.

What a run this was. Orange really made the belt feel like something worth fighting for from This moment until the last. Historic.
You can tell PAC really enjoys his matches with OC, because he sells like a fiend. He's so underrated as a seller, but he made those swinging DDTs look absolutely fatal. That was a really good match, and often, when you see a really good match, it's what the other guy is doing that makes it so good.

Aside from Christian Cage screwing Jack Perry again and Mark Sterling being the annoying gimmick thief, the show is overall good. 8 out of 10.

Somehow, three years ago, I ended up with an alert on my phone about how Orange Cassidy signed with AEW. I had never heard of either Cassidy or AEW. After watching some videos from his indie matches, I now own three Freshly Squeezed t-shirts.

PAC and Orange Cassidy have always had such crazy good matches. I don't think I've ever been bored when these two duke it out. All the way back to the creation of AEW, they brought the fire and the flame, but the referee did a lot of oddly good storytelling in this match too!
Bryce might be one of my favorite referees. His work in the Invisible Man vs. Invisible Stan match was so fun to watch. He's great.
Pac just had the BEST sell I've ever seen, in my decades of watching wrestling. They tore it down! I want to see a rivalry out of these two!

OC came a long way. From tapping right away from the Brutalizer two years ago to fighting through to the ropes twice this match. Long term storytelling! OC deserves it.
FACTS and this match was a lot their match aew revolution 2020 but roles reversed where pac was acting more lazy like cassidy and cassidy was acting more serious like pac.
That was the best DDT sell of all time, perfection, PAC is very underrated in my opinion, congrats to the freshly squeeze

Not a orange fan but the story they told in this match to get to the climax was very well done. When they can get the person who is a jaded Orange fan to be into his victory then they did a great job and I respect orange. And it was a great match. Credit when it’s due

When i saw Cassidy at AEW for the First time, i thought He will never win any Title with that Gimmick. But, slowly slowly i also started to love him & today he is a CHAMPION.
