great advice about giving credit to the other trades guys i see so many guy's on site putting down the other trades like electrical putting down the plumbing and mechanical guys etc vice versa all the time , i dont do this because i happen to be an electrical , general , plumbing, mechnical , hvacr contractor myself so i try never to do that
i have had builders call me to wire up a home after it was poured i dont like it one bit becuase there are radiant heating lines in the slab already and you have to break the slab for your poured slab work espacially in the kitchen for islands ok dont miss it
Can remember using stainless steel NEMA 4 boxes years ago in a large slaughterhouse and candy plant. Back 40 years ago lead times was long ad of course they one SS box that you needed the most would be back ordered. Hope you make a nice profit from this huge job .
Thanks John, yeah seems like history repeating itself. I think the back log at this point in just a money grab, but who am I to say. Half the prouduct, double the price, you tell me.
@@The360Electrician Dukes of hazard Pa that lying politicians have been telling us they are working on a state electrical license since 1964. Worst part is some townships do not recognize any other local electrical license and make you waste a day taking a test then paying up to $150 a year for each electrical license that you need in Pa.
Love it stay small , do it smart and hire the best. My small team can pump out 2 to 3xs what an average crew can do allowing me to manage both companies from Montana. How's the Georgia market doing?
it sucks to do slab work after its poured guys believe me i know from experience , going onto a job that is already poured and with radiant in the slab oh oh
Most states, you need the hours and pass a test. Usually 4 to 6 years. Some states like California don't have a masters test just journeyman. Montana for example have both. I'm a master here and journeyman in Cali with 2 unlimited contractors lic. One in each. The journey is worth it if you know your end goal.
In my area no such thing as a master Electrician license.Only have electrical contractors license. Only turd tossers ( plumbers ) have a masters license.

Considering the switchgear was quoted at 96k by Eaton, 550k wouldn't have been far off with a complete Creston or homeworks system, but that's pretty high for the Sq. footage on this one. Thanks for guessing. Email us, and I'll send you a small thank you gift!

I would say $750,000
That would be nice. Considering original switchgear cost at 75k we thought it might get up pretty high.
$300,000
Almost but good guess. 👍
Not knowing the size and scope id say $550,000
