    That's a fantastic Bobber! I don't need (can't afford) a second bike, but if I did, it would likely be a Thornton Hundred Bobber. Just such a cool look they have. And, they opened a US branch... I just have to resist ever looking into it and I won't ever be tempted!

    Wow. Beautiful bike. Im addicted to TH build videos. Good to get a customer’s perspective. Umm - pass on the supercharger - it’s cool but I would have to agree that would be mental.

    Thank you Mr Goblin. I have been addicted to the TH channel for a while now so great to hear a customer's feed back. My dream is to get one of these custom bobbers from these lads at TH and get around the roads of North Wales where I live. Problem is I have to do my CBT, DAS and build a shed first !!!!... oh and save up about £35k.... my 3 yr project! pls make more vids about your adventures on your bobber. Thanks!

    Nice video - been following Thornton Hundred for a while, interesting to get a view from one of a their customers. Had my Bobber since 2018 - been tweaking over the years - nice to get some inspiration though (might get their quadlock adapter).
    Nice to see Triumph Woburn - bought my first bike from them back in 2012.

    Love the bike mate. It would be awesome to do something with those guys, but being in Australia makes it costly. Keep the videos coming!!

    Love the bike I’m a huge fan of TH and the passenger seat looks amazing in my opinion. I’ve recently been binge researching how to do a wide wheel kit at a more affordable cost. I was told that the wide wheel kit makes it unstable in ways and changes the way the bike rides and could possibly get a speed wobble in higher speeds.

    • @GoblinGT
      @GoblinGT  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there, it will definitely change the way the bike feels to ride. However it is not unstable at all and I've sat at the top speed of the bike for considerable amounts of time with zero wobble. The bike is very stable.

    On the thornton website it's says the exhausts are not for road use but then offer a hidden cat option has yours got a cat if not how does it get on regarding mot

    Nice video, good to see an owner make one. It looks amazing
    Couple of questions if you've got time..
    Is it MOT friendly? Exhaust, Indicators, reg etc?
    Does the back part come off completely so you only have the one seat left?
    Do you mind divulging roughly how much it was? (On top of the deposit)

    • @GoblinGT
      @GoblinGT  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No problem, it's hard to say on the MOT front as it won't need one until 2025. I have kept the cats in my exhaust for that reason, the indicators aren't an issue but the plate may be.
      No the back part doesnt come off, but you can pull the seat off and switch it for a luggage rack or a painted section that matches the tank.
      Mine was £30,000 plus VAT including the deposit which included extra options of the passenger seat, titanium bolt kit, design of the luggage rack system and tyre decals.

      @@GoblinGT Thanks, I suppose at MOT time you could just add the old stuff to pass it.
      Thanks for the price. It gives me an idea of what to budget for. Beans and Toast for the kids for the next good while 😂

      I think it's really comfortable, I've done 8 hours on it in a day and the only thing that was uncomfortable was I wanted to stretch my legs out more.

    How does it turns with this wide tires?

  • @anthonysimpson5801
    @anthonysimpson5801 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    To me a Bobber simply doesn't have a passenger seat. Fitting one completely ruins the clean lines of the rear of the bike that are supposed to be as bare and uncluttered as possible.

    • @GoblinGT
      @GoblinGT  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I agree for the looks. But I have a partner I like to take out. So sacrifices have to be made.

    • @anthonysimpson5801
      @anthonysimpson5801 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GoblinGT Each to their own of course but personally I'd rather go for a second bike for passengers. Or maybe TH could come up with a seat that is quickly and easily removable.

    • @GoblinGT
      @GoblinGT  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@anthonysimpson5801 yh that's understandable, my second bike is even less passenger friendly. A removable passenger seat would be the best option IMO.

      Looks of a classic bobber with all mod cons. Certainly has plenty of pace for our crappy roads. Sounds bloody awesome. You made a great choice and bagged a special bike, what’s not too like 👍
