Which one will you go for? I guess it's an easy choice based on price and what your needs are? Here are the three e-readers shown in this video: Here's the Moaan InkPalm 5 on AliExpress: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DkduzN9 I had a good buying experience from them, here's hoping that you do too! And here's the Palma, one of the most popular e-readers right now: Check out the Onyx Boox Palma at the US website: shop.boox.com/products/palma?ref=0t1qqbSDWLMb or the EU website: euroshop.boox.com/products/boox-palma?ref=my_f5MKKrpQRge&variant=42892410945736 Check it out the HiBreak at the official Bigme Store: store.bigme.vip/products/bigme-hibreak-smartphone?ref=m70ez2cm&variant=43652835180723 (These are affiliate links and so I would earn a small commission on sales made through them. There is no extra cost to you. Thanks for supporting the channel. :-)
I'm watching your video on the Palma and the lack of color doesn't bother me at all. The wider bezels on the InkPalm would drive me nuts. Is that worth spending $200 more? Probably not. What I least like about the Palma is the sluggishness of the e-ink screen. I'm trying to reduce the time I spend looking at my phone screen, but I keep reaching for it because it's zippy.
@@NeilLavitt eagle eyed of you. I remember thinking as I edited that, that it was odd she was reading a real book in a video about ereaders! I even for a moment thought about cutting it! But well remembered, sure did mention she likes reading real books as well! She was reading Elena Ferrante and they've been passed around the whole extended family now, which is a nice thing to do with a real book! All these things have their place!
I"m actually looking at that keyboard or one like it. I have a foldable Bluetooth keyboard for my iPad Mini for when I travel, but it has no trackpad and the keys are in a recessed surrounding, so it's a little difficult to type. I'm looking forward to your review. As to the actual devices you talked about in this video, I already own the Palma and am very happy with it. Aliexpress is a red flag for me, and, based on the fact that the Moaan is no longer available on the link you provided along with the low rating, I think my instinct was true in this case.
I remember I had a very niche 5" reader ten years ago, it had to send the mobi/epub files through their servers to render out pictures which synched then on the reader (txtr Beagle. later replaced it by a kobo mini, but that one had trashy software crashing constantly). What I really loved about it was the aspect ratio, it was closer to 4 by 3, which feels much nicer for a small book page. You can get more words in one row and have less hectic line movement. Might have to look for something like that again, just with plug and play this time around please :)
Would love to see the Hibreak in this comparison. Very interested in it as a digital detox. But more importantly: where is that holiday spot? Because it looks very nice.
@@KitBetts-Masters I'm settling for the Tab Mini C size-wize, but ideally, having something right next to my computer for jotting things down in meetings etc. would be perfect.
I have the Boox Palma. I am interested in the Minimal Phone though. The screen wont be as good nor as big, but a keyboard is a big sell (I have the Clicks keyboard which I enjoy far too much) and for text based things i prefer eInk.

Well shot, never seen your channel before. You have a soothing voice, too! Comprehensive and what I was looking for, thanks!
Inkpalm 5 pro it's great. I buy it and took for a 10 hours fly, battery last enough and the experience in general was more than ok.
Loving seeing Mrs Kit with her real book, just as she mentioned on that video she featured in.

San Gigmignano. Tuscany! Definitely a recommend, take in Seina and Florence while you are at it!
I know I'm a weirdo here, but I would *love* something this size with pen input.
totally agree, S-Pen type thing would be incredible on an e-ink phone!

Nice, but the format is weird for comics or manga and a small 6"-7" ereader can fit on a pocket.
