Uber has approx 1.2 million drivers... This is my personal calculations based on a formula i found that I can't say in public... but via private message I can tell you what the formula is... Formula also tell you how many drivers are added per month..
I received yesterday notification from Uber stating that effective Dec 7 2015 new partners who sign up to San Bernardino and Riverside County (Palm Springs) will not ne able to receive requests. Any insight? What about Lyft?
This video is almost 2 years old and I've been with Lyft almost a year. I purposely didn't do both because 1: the number of Uber drivers here in Boston was already out of control and 2: All the bad press and stories of driving for Uber. With that said, Lyft is guns blazing now to recruit drivers here in Boston, but people are still using Uber more. So in the past year I have watched my number of rides per day decline sharply. I'm beginning to see why cities across this country limit the number of taxi cabs there can be on the road and the same needs to be implemented for Lyft and Uber drivers. The reason these companies can't keep people are because people like me who are tired of making less and putting in the same hours. There are too many F...in drivers now, but if I stay outside the city there are not enough riders, so it is a loose loose for drivers right now. All the ads and propaganda I see from both companies is about getting drivers, not riders. There needs to be a bigger push to get people to use these services, not drive for them. This stuff has been around for years now and I still have riders from time to time telling me they just found out that rideshare was a thing.
They are goner lose more Drivers due to taking 25% instead of 20% from new drivers. It's better to be a Lyft driver now because you have more ways to make money and they only take 20%. And fares for both companies are almost the same in most states. Guess Uber got greedy and wanted to see how low the fares can be before Drivers stop driving(remember $2 base fare in a lot of states) when they had the monopoly on the ride sharing. But I wish Lyft would have their own gps app. Also Lyft support isn't near as good as Uber support for Drivers and Rider. Hopefully, Lyft can do something about it.
So true but Lyft is picking up do the heavy advertisement and bonus for the sign up for drivers in my area. Some Uber/Lyft drivers has both sign on their cars at the same time....lol.
I like all your vidios but after 2 weeks in phx.. this is all a total scam.. not one surge ride and after gas you make 7bucks if your lucky.. so after and mait and ware and tare.. you don't make shit.

+mannycovers I've heard about similar notifications. I guess it's to control which areas drivers work in, nothing about lyft though.
